Dude, don't diss Alban Berg. If there's anybody to diss for failing epically to write serious music it's Dvorak and his ninth. That stuff's just campy. I mean it's like *derp* IM GONNA QUOTE TURKEY AND DA STRAW AND DATS WHAT MAKES THIS PIECE ABOUT THE NEW *derp* WORLD! :P ALBAN BERG DID NOT FAIL SPECTACULARLY AT WRITING BEAUTIFUL MUSIC! And really, trying to understand serialism without knowing who Webern is is like trying to understand Fascism without knowing who the Nazis were. It just doesn’t work. Make a joke about him. Also say something about how he laughed his head off when Webern told his saxophonist in a quartet to play with "sex appeal." It's funny, and it's true. I like the Forrest Gump comparision tho, but the point of the movie is that he accomplished great things despite his low intelligence, and so did Alban Berg.
