Sorghum is an African grain used to make all your favorite processed foods like Cheerios. Sorghum is also used to make ethanol and animal feed.

Sorghum is a large stout grass that looks like every green plant that ever existed. It has large bushy flower heads that provide an edible starchy grain to make the average American their favorite breakfast cereal with 30,000 calories. Sorghum is from African and was taken by Arabs during the Arab Agricultural Revolution and was spread around the world.

Sorghum grows in very hot dry conditions like a drought. Farmers like to plant sorghum because of its unique characteristic to suppress weeds so lazy farmers could do less work.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Sorghum is used to make many things like cereal with lead, animal feed, bread, and beer to get high.
