This is an essay. It is not an ignorable policy on Uncyclopedia, so you should ignore it even more and disregard the mad ramblings of its writer. Or you could submit it as an Uncycloversity assignment in lieu of doing any actual work. |
I, for one, am sick of hearing about a bunch of topics. Perhaps it's a side effect of being around here for so long, but when people start bickering about Fisher Price for the nineteen billionth time, it gets old. When people start reviving flamewars that have died down, I see it as someone yelling "And another thing..." five hours after they lost the argument.
Certain topics are more volatile than others, however. I propose keeping those subjects in a figurative Pandora's box, and therefore keeping that box shut. (In differently allusive language, that means the first two rules are we do not talk about them.) Of course, some jackass is going to go on and try to open it, which is where we ban him for being so stupid.
An incomplete list of the topics that should be boxed is:
- Fisher Price
- Euroipods
- Powershot and Shark Bite
- Mr winkler is GAY
- Asperger's Syndrome
- Encyclopedia Dramatica
- User:Nintendorulez
- User:SU182
- User:NXWave
- Spang and Splarka
Hopefully, this policy will keep drama down. After all, everyone hates drama. In the face. —Hinoa talk.kun 22:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
