GoAnimate, stylized as Go!Animate and now called Vyond, is a 2D animation website originally made for making edutainment and business videos until some teenagers got their hands on it and made it so Caillou and other "baby show" characters got their ass grounded for ridiculously long times by his dad and maybe even worse, flooding a business tool with offensive jokes, the TTS engine failing to pronounce 2342344321324 years, laughing and crying being "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha" and "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" respectively and making non-grounded animations rare as shit.
Over the years, GoAnimate was popular with businessmen who didn't want their ass fired by their Phoenix Wright-looking boss who wants professional looking videos. Thing is, GoAnimate is not very professional, like at all. Same thing with the grounded videos. They’re everywhere and not funny.

On YouTube, a certain kind of video emerged known as grounded videos or punishment day videos are the definition of either cringe or comedy gold. It usually involves a baby show character doing the bad thing and getting in dead meat, resulting in over-the-top extreme punishments only Satan could give to dumbasses living in Hell beating a dead horse. This act of flailing arms and robotic voices tends to be a grounding of a ridiculous amount of time (i.e: a trillion years, or 6) and sometimes the parents and their karen ass give out a punishment day. This is a series of punishments that involve the victim of the grounding getting their ass handed to them with brutal punishments, such as Cock and Ball Torture, Murder (HOLY SHIT), burning of the skin, destroying their favorite place (usually Chuck eeeee Cheeses) and sometimes Rape. Fucked up, I know.
