Forum:I'm Setting up a stupid Sim Football (American) League
Hi, I'm Roby. I'm a noob here in UnCyclopedia and I thught this would be the best place to 'recruit' people to my sim football league. It is not fantasy or based on NFL, I'm going to have stupid team names and it's going to be fucking silly. Sadly, at the same time, my web host and e-mail are down, my e-mail server is going thru 'maintenance' so I cannot display a web page for now. But here is the statment that is on the upcoming league page, also a stupid football league name is suggested instead of the dumbass name of: Super Duper Football League. Here's our statement:
I have been involved with a couple of these stupid ass fantasy football leagues. But I'm more of a fan of making my own shit or having people make there own stuff as well. We are allowing a user to make the team name and the playes too, with some control of the ratings, so you can choose which player sucks or which player rocks or which player is going to be on your 2nd team for 20 seasons without the chance of making it on the first team. We will run a game on a day people just don't like (Tuesday), one game per week like the NFL does, since I'm a busy guy.
The roster is going to be mostly fictional, we will allow a few of them to play (just be be stupid), including OJ Simpson and Micheal Vick (He killed my dog, that fucker!). Remember, don't expect to be sitting there for four hours watching the game, I will run Football Mogul 2007 on Tuesday after i get home from work (or from being at the bar drinking my fucking woes away, Michigan's economy is bad, that's why we have the Detroit Lions.) Once the games are done (usually around 1 minute, I will get on the web and upload all stats and such. Plus, we will have Play-By-Play included.
If your team loses Sixty(60) to Negative Seven (-7), send me an e-mail or drop me a line on kicking your 1st string QB out and putting your second-string in to teach your well paid QB a fucking lesson. Sadly, we don't have superior controls here to control your team during play or option on doing it on your own, you'll have to e-mail me or go on my Usertalk on UnEncyclopedia. I'd love to put my Cell Phone Number, but I don't want some crybaby calling me becasue his team got his ass kicked 3 to 100,000. I also run a SIM hockey League and I had people bitch because there team lost a lot and also, no "on demand" controls of his lines, (since there are only nine people are involved with it, so I'm not going thru the red tape). If in the future, we have people intrested in this league, I will set up "on demand" roster changes, but until then, if you don't like us not having "on demand" changes, you're fucked.
WARNING: This isn't a fantasy league, we are doing are own shit here. If you can't handle it, please right-click on your browser to close this page (or 'X' if you have the old Interent Explorer, hey, everyone has there own preferences, to each his own...) This game (if it is a game) will be rated 'M' for Mature, since funny and stupid names are encouraged, I cannot and don't care if the names have foul language in them, however, we are not allowing racist words (minus Honky or Honk Honk!).
