Byproduct of government research

Statists are the rational people (says the Libertarians) who know that every time there is a state of unstability and small government, it is always succeeded by a big government, and thus takes advantage of that to seize power.

Of course, the Libertarians often denounce these guys for attempting to take care of the masses, since they view this as an affront to the big money, which the Libertarians believe should be the real ruler(s). The Statists say no, and henceforth often makes allies of the Liberals, particularly the Socialist kinds (while making enemies with the Conservatives, despite the Conservative claims to protect society by banning drug, porn, etc that Statists actually accomplish)
