Missiles belong to the category of items collectively known as 'things'. Missiles come in all sorts of shapes and sizes but have one thing in common: they are all pointy tubes forty feet in length. Missiles are made to be thrown, either manually (if you can find a strong enough manual) or otherwise, in which case a rocket motor suffices to provide a built-in throwing function.
