Pressing CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-RELOAD (ctrl+shift+alt+ or in any combination with at the end) is a popular pastime for Chromebook users. When the ctrl+shift+alt+ keys are pressed at the same time, the screen spontaneously rotates and does a barrel roll. This is especially entertaining if you do it on someone else's Chromebook while they are working on something very important. They will look in horror as you press the buttons, thinking it will end their existence, or even worse, delete their work, but when you are done, your screen will slowly rotate 360 degrees. However, if it is spammed on the keyboard, it will rotate so much it is very hard, if not impossible, for a person to get any work done.

Dangerous Key Combos[edit | edit source]

This combination of keys has a dangerous function if backspace is pressed with it. This has the effect of restarting the device, which takes time and does not save anything you are doing. This is even more dangerous is if you add esc with it. This devastating combination completely resets the Chromebook without saving anything and deletes all files in you Google Drive as well as anything saved on the device's memory. There are more incredibly evil features and one of them is the ctrl+shift+alt++backspace+esc+Power combination. This causes your Chromebook's internal battery to explode in your face and permanently delete anything that was ever done on the device, and can also annihilate your Google account if you ask it nicely. It disables the warranty, but is useful for tech-savvy spies because they can destroy any evidence quickly and effectively.

Lastly, if your Chromebook has the Nuclear Battery component installed, you can press ctrl+shift+alt+++backspace+esc+Power+nuclear+explosion+enter to blow up anything within 75 miles of the Chromebook.

Note: this feature is currently unsupported by most Chromebooks.
