  • After I walk home
    • Counts. A dependent clause, but still a complete clause.

    • Doesn't count. Contains two clauses, even though only one would form a correct sentence on its own.
  • Yay!
    • Counts. It's a complete sentence due to it being an interjection.
  • Firstly, this article sucks.
    • Counts. "Firstly" isn't a clause.
  • I wrote this garbage, then I
    • Doesn't count. Although it is only one clause, it also contains a phrase.
  • I wrote this garbage, then
    • Doesn't count. It is only one clause, but it contains the beginning of another clause.
