HowTo:Strip A Wall [edit source]

I've just finished this article and i'm quite proud of it. I was simply wondering what others thought. Any improvement sugestions welcome --BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk). 16:16, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Humour: 7 I see what you're getting at, but could work a little harder, and should kick in a bit sooner.
Concept: 8 Why not? Handy skill to know.
Prose and formatting: 7 Not bad at all; I'd like to see more of it in there.
Images: 6 The ones you have are well-captioned, but you could really use a strong lead.
Miscellaneous: 7 Decent humorous linkages.
Final Score: 35 See End Notes.

Good stuff Bonner. I see what you were getting at here with the progressive ridiculousness angle, which works well in a HowTo. But as is, it comes off as a bit of a one trick pony, and as such your going to get a lot of people skimming through the article rather than actually reading it. I'd say, keep the sections (which are already serving as a decent framework) and flesh out the concepts of each method to include their own jokes, so that the article isn't just one big joke. This can also be rectified with some humor earlier in the piece, to keep the reader's interest as they continue on to the meat of the humor (the sledgehammer and blowtorch = funny).

So basically, keep plugging away at it, fill out the sections a bit more. It is already quality; just give it the extra boost it needs. :) --THINKER 23:00, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
