Doctor Who

Doctor Who was an American science fiction program of the 1960s. Created by Gene Roddenberry, Doctor Who followed the voyages of the crew of the starship Enterprise, helmed by Captain Ms. Doctor Who MD/PhD, as it travelled the universe. The original program was cancelled in the late 1960s, but since then several more series have been made using the Doctor Who name. These are:

• Doctor Who: The Next Generation
• Doctor Who: Deep Space Nine
• Doctor Who: Voyager
• Doctor Who: Enterprise.

The last of these having recently been cancelled, the future of the Doctor Who franchise is in doubt.
