Why? talk:Become an atheist/Funny version
Glad they decided to keep, but what makes this so much more funny than the original? HeroReborn 65.90.138.150 19:19, 8 April 2009 (UTC)

The lack thereof was neatly demonstrated by missing the point of, and basic misunderstanding of, some terms. Far more relevant than Timmy's need for some pissy $5 donation for new crutches is the obscene wealth churches have amassed. They already have the money to help him. But perhaps better still would have been to point out that if God was able to make a universe, he could fix Timmy's fucking legs, so if the credulous think their Creator knows what he's doing, they should back the fuck away from Timmy's ambulatory issues and leave well enough alone.
Blasphemy is not saying, "Oh my God." Blasphemy is misappropriating the name of God to justify actions in defiance of his will as promulgated by paedophiles behind altars.
Bashing theists on the basis of their fucking stupidity is not the same thing as being oppressed for failing to adhere to a creed. It isn't a double standard. That's beside the point, though - the idea was not humorous. Neither is the assertion that Darwin is cute.
This was less funny than listening to some glazed-eyed fuckwits discussing the Bible. That ought to be your yardstick.
