Bonner, I can see that you're an astute contributor. Apart from me and thee, are there any others who could form a group and get this show back on the road? Basic Principles 22:01, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Well there are lots of astute contributers around here...I just seem to be the only one active at the moment. Also how do you mean "Get this show back on the road?" BonSig.png (Bonner) (Talk) Nov 2, 22:03
I discovered Uncyclopedia by chance something more than a year ago, when I laughed aloud at some of the scathing wit. Then I thought of it as an important vehicle for expressing the unofficial but significantly popular point of view. These days, however, I see that what's featured depends on who wrote it and who his or her friends are, which in my view means it's become seriously debased, just like real world political and popular opinions. Also, I deduce that the average age of featured contributors has dropped precariously towards something less than the age of puberty. What was once in my view a valuable, global voice for the 'other point of view', has become a mish-mosh where adolescent boys compare the sizes of their pricks and younger children thow their toys at each other. My question is, therefore, do you think Uncyclopedia is following the inevitable way to go, as with Wikipedia, or should I hang in here and attempt to make a difference? Basic Principles 22:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Hang in there my friend, definitely. Yes I'll agree that whoring articles is now the most common way of getting your article featured and we do have a lot of users producing immature content. However I don't think age has as much as an impact as you say. I for one am 15 yet I still make decent contributions and try to keep the place running as smoothly as possible. Much of the immature content that you see comes from anonymous IPs that randomly contribute to kill five minutes of their dull lives. Another thing that I firmly believe about Uncyclopedia is not to take anything too seriously around here; yes there are a large amount of 'whored' articles that get featured, but the majority, if not all of those articles are of high quality. If we took everything that shouldn't happen around here (I.e. whoring) and rigidly enforced the rule of it not happening, we wouldn't have such a diverse community of users and some of the fantastic content we have now. Your edits...[edit source]

Why did you add that quote to my article after I told you why I reverted it without contacting me? I have no interest what so ever in revert warring with you, so I simply requested page protection. If you are trying to make a point that this a wiki, please do so on a different page, thanks--Sir Manforman CUN.png 23:31, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
