Tokyo, Japan Yesterday, it was announced that Nintendo had teamed up with some Japanese scientists and are in the process of creating real, live, breathing Pokemon. They plan to create them by combining the DNA of real animals and cloning them repeatedly. As seen in the pictures, some of the first created were Cubone, Mudkip, and Pikachu. "It has been the hottest kids craze since it's [pokemon's] creation, why not make them real?" says Shiguru Kuriyashi, one of the founders of this project. They plan to make these real copies of over 60 Pokemon species, and once they have enough clones, they will be distributed to pet stores all over the world and some will be sold for up to $2,000 in america.
