Banking industry[edit | edit source]
“WHERE'S MY MONEY?”
The banking industry is by far the most prominent gambling enterprise in the world, being responsible for many really bad bouts of misery when the hole they dig themselves into cause them to file for bankruptcy[1] due to their desperation to regain lost funds.[2]
Many companies like Enron and Nortel, emboldened by the banking industry, have chosen to gamble their earnings on clearly overinflated trends.[3] causing lots of people to be royally fucked over once the bubble pops.
While some may argue that this would call for the nationalization and abandonment of for-profit banking, or at least making banks boring, their massive lobbying groups would argue otherwise, and the Federal Reserve and their international counterparts have always been more than eager to print cash to fuel the industry's crippling gambling addiction.
