Roert C. Soles, Jr.(born 1934) is a Democrapit attorney. R. Soles served as Democratic "member" of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 8th district since 1977. Counties found within R. Soles district includes Bumswick, Columbum and Bender[1]. From 1969-1976, R. Soles served in the North Carolina House of Representatives. The lawyer has never married, some say this is because he is not attracted to women, and that he only loves himself or to put it another way "He only likes R. Soles". This R. Soles been round for ages, in December 2009, he was the longest serving legislator in the state but he announced he would not seek re-election in 2010 after he was found to a contreversial R. Soles.
R. Soles is a practicing attorney at Soles, Phipps, Ray, and Prince Law Firm. In 2006, the N.C. Bar Association inducted him into the General Practice Hall of Fame. Recently, the North Carolina Center for Public Policy Research named R. Soles the 8th most effective member of the legislature. R. Soles is the founding president of the Southeastern Community College Foundation, a former member of the Governor's Crime Commission, and former board member of the Columbus County Community Foundation and Opera Company of North Carolina. R. Soles graduated with a B.A. from Wake Forest University and received his J.D. and coke from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Over the years, the local community and his clients have put a lot of faith, among other things, into R. Soles. Although the longest serving Democrat in the state, there has been rumours R. Soles may defecate on the Republicans.
Controversy about R. Soles[edit | edit source]
In August, 2009 he shot a young man and former legal client in the leg who was allegedly trying to kick in R. Soles' front door, but no allegations that he had abused R. Soles or back doors of any kind were made at this time. After further allegations had been made, some people think that R. Soles' defence and R. Soles in general stink. In another incident, a young man was sprayed by R. Soles with pepper spray. The lawyer's lawyer, Joseph Cheshire, said that R. Soles spray was in self-defense. Cheshire and R. Soles repeatedly have said that R. Soles has been generous to former clients in hoping to ease them back to a law-abiding life. R. Soles has denied having sexual relations with any of the young men[2]s. R. Soles, now an old R. Soles at 75 was indicted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury on 7 January 2010, allegedly some guy was beaten shitless by R. Soles[3]; a spokesman for the police said they had no idea R. Soles could conseal large deadly weapons.
Accusation of sexual assault involving R. Soles[edit | edit source]
In 2009 allegations from several men were published claiming that they were sexually abused by R. Soles when they were employed by a mining company. minors. [4]
They were misquoted in saying:
- "We were abused, and in no way did we lead R. Soles on. We are in no way sexually attracted to R. Soles, and find any sexual activity involving R. Soles very disturbing. He says he's not attracted to men but I never see him with a woman; I think that R. Soles's full of shit"
R. Soles lawyer was misquoted as replying:
- "I cannot believe R. Soles could ever be involved in homosexual rape, this is not the fist time someone has tried to defecate his name; R. Soles can only take so much shit."
