Look at me Mum! I'm on the Internet!™ is a celebrated philosophy that emerges from either a deep appreciation, or some kind of oedipal resentment (depending on the person), that makes the subject focus all his or her feelings towards the being who gave him life (or at least let him stick around in her belly for 9 months) - his grandmother mother.

The phrase is commonly used by Internet folk to describe the satisfaction they feel after fulfilling one of their most impossible dreams - appearing online. Nowadays the phrase is the subject of in-depth academic studies due to the inherent ambiguities of meaning and background, as well as its association with certain types of people.
