For portal pages, used in Portal DYK blurbs. The earlier system for displaying DYKs on portal pages lead to numerous duplicate entries, which this template avoids.
Note: Plain wikitext (links, bolding, italics, etc.) only! Template calls will show as raw wikitext instead of the template itself. Expanding templates and parser tags from a different pagename using lua is currently outside the abilities of Uncyclopedia's best vibe coding monkeys (i.e. morons). Feel free to throw peanuts at them.
Usage
{{PortalDYK|Pagename|3<!-- number of random bulleted items retrieved -->}}
The {{{1}}} parameter specifies a pagename. The {{{2}}} parameter determines the number of bulleted items randomly taken from the pagename.
Formatting of pagename
The specified page must be formatted as a plain list of bulleted items. Items cannot include templates. Nested bullets are not supported (i.e. "**foo"). Here is an example.
*... Example1 *... Example2 *... Example3
An arbitrary amount of bulleted items can be supported.
