GET OH DEERED!
Ok! So basically, this just uses some vvery simple code:
.deer-animate::before {
content: INSERT ASCII TEXT IMAGE FRAME ONE
animation: deer-switch 2s steps(1) infinite;
}
@keyframes deer-switch {
0.00%, 9.99% {
content: INSERT ASCII TEXT IMAGE FRAME TWO
} ...and so forth
if you want to make something similar, OR edit this, get a gif, break it down into individual pngs or jpegs, upload them to an ASCII converter, download them onto .txt files, then replace the full length of ASCII text in each frame with your own. You can add more frames, or reduce them, but be aware of the 100kb limit, which tends to be less than 20 frames with this amount of text per frame. Speed is adjustable in the deer-switch part, and all the rest is controllable from lines 2-7
For now, it is just a gif from My Deer Friend, with a text overlay reading OH DEER.
Usage: {{Deer}}
