Ok following the comments below, tomorrow I am going to move this page to a new address, probably "York (NY)" or something along those lines. And start writing a page for York as in the UK city :-) --Chevron 16:57, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
This page seems a bit superfluous considering there is already a page for New York, and is supposed to be just the 'old name' for NY. Plus it's a bit rubbish. I might rewrite it for the English city of York (as I live there) if nobody objects in the next week. --Chevron 14:35, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
may help... it isnt a great peice of work. I'm sure me and chevron can create something slightly more entertaining

Shouldn't the statement about the river be altered? The chocolate factories associated with York are Nestle and (until recently) Terry's. Cadbury's have had nothing whatsoever to do with York.
