Saying

As I regret that I have but one life to give for my country, I have chosen to not count my chickens before they hatch and write an article about sayings.

History (is bunk)[edit | edit source]

A "chill pill," according to researchers at the Kansas Board of Education. May be poisonous.

Sayings, to beat around the bush, were created four score and seven years ago when a man named Bob Saying took one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind. Many disliked his sayings because of their redundancy, but he chose to speak softly, and carry a big stick, and told them to take a chill pill. Because if you build it, they will come, Bob tried to improve the public’s attitude by becoming a genius with one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. However, it was all for naught. He knew that he who travels fastest travels alone. However, if at first, you don’t succeed, try, try, and try again you fail. However, united we stand, divided we fall, so Bob’s fate was written upon the wall.

And that was the way the cookie crumbled. Bob knew that knowledge is power, but he forgot the most important thing of all. Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you’re gonna get.

Sayings Today ("is life - the only life you are sure of")[edit | edit source]

Today, we need to blow off some steam. We need to think therefore I am. Use sayings to stop crying over spilt milk, stop splitting hairs, and stop burning bridges, and go ahead, make my day. No one, as they count their chickens before they hatch,* uses sayings. Please, before you become the straw that breaks the camel’s back.

  • Okay, I used this one before. But let’s not split hairs.*
  • Oops, used that one too. But please, don’t make a mountain out of a molehill.

Conclusion (that you should jump to)[edit | edit source]

Why are you jumping to conclusions?
