English: tool hides the letters of the album and band name in the letters of the song names on all their albums except undertow which has a secret track list in the cd booklet there are lyrics from all the songs but they are out of order reorder the songs on undertow to match the out of order lyrics

im not sure why tool does this but this is why the album names are the way they are they usually give you hints in the album artwork like how the us in lateralus is dropped slightly and the music videos are actually instructional videos which are supposed to tell you how to rearrange the songs

if you notice in this image the songs that have the letters US in them do not line up with the rest of the letters until you place them on top of triad this is why the US is dropped slightly in the album artwork
