Description 041201-N-0696M-093 Pacific Ocean (Dec. 1, 2004) - An EA-6B Prowler aircraft engine glows during testing at the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department's (AIMD) jet engine test cell aboard USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). AIMD is capable of completely testing any type of jet engine, up to full afterburners, from embarked air wing aircraft, creating a fully functional repair facility and maintaining aircraft readiness while underway.
