| Humour: | 4 | I view myself as having a good sense of humour, but as the article wore on and on, I started laughing less… and less, and less. The sheer amount of cussing (as I will stress again and again) takes away from this article. Aside from the cusses, there is no real content to laugh at, so I can’t really mark this too high.
The punch lines that got me were only light, and scattered too widely to help much. I DID find the part about “I should probably start thinking of some witty sources” then sourcing Conservapedia as a VERY good jab, but that was, frankly all that really got to me. |
| Concept: | 7 | Loved your concept for this article (Going to write an article because you forgot why you wanted to write said article), and it did open up a lot of wiggle for self-satire, but what it failed at was exercising the satire. “That son of a bitch UnIdiot” and”fuck him” were the only examples I could find, and both of them, as I will get to in prose, had swearing in them. Great concept, just not played out to its highest potential |
| Prose and formatting: | 5 | I do not particularly mind swearing and cussing, but it seemed that every few words, I would bump into “fuck this” and “fuck that”. Now, if well applied, swearing can be a good way to throw in a punch, but when you throw in profanity after profanity after profanity… it just loses its appeal, and even people who do not generally get offended become, at the least, unhappy.
Another problem that I frequently point out is the lack of categories, which, once the article is pushed off the map, is one of the only ways for it to be found. In this case, I think that Words would fit in, but I can’t think of any other matching categories. |
| Images: | 7 | This article had exactly the image amounts I would have wanted to see, and the images were properly sized. I was pleased to see that you put one on the left and the other on the right, and that you had a humourous caption. Your images were… about the right size and a sane distance apart, and most importantly, they contributed to the text. Problem is that the images did not contribute much to the article. They were there, and they made a point, but they didn’t affect the flow for better or worse. My recommendation is to keep it as is, don’t worry |

| Talk | Contribs - 21:46, Mar 28 - Hmm, I did read through the revision, and I like how the cussing was a bit decreased (Now within certain tolerable limits), so I would have, upon reviewing again, have raised Humour to a 7, and Prose to an 8. Misc would now become a 7.25 if I had reviewed it in this shape, and as of now, this article is just about the average one. I like the improvement.Warm Regards, Javascap>
