Prologue

In a dark room, of an empty park, five men were whispering mischief and planning a scheme. The opening of the new Sunny Days Amusement Park left them many monster costumes meant for entertainment use. They had something else in mind.

"No you idiot!" one man said, "It isn't that simple! We have authority to dodge!"

"Well we gotta get a plan and stick to it! The boss will be here any second to check to make sure we are behaving and we have to act fast!" another replied.

They went back to a soft whisper and talked more. The darkness covered them and not even their shapes could be distinguished. They lowered their voices as a security guard passed by, whistiling a soft tune. When he passed, they started talking at their normal tone.

Suddenly, out of the darkness a sixth voice interrupted, "What are you guys up to no...AHH!," he shouted, as one of the men took out a gun and shot him three times in the chest. The sixth man collapsed.

"Nothing is going to stand in our way..." one of them said, pocketing his gone, "nothing..."

Choosing the Specimen[edit | edit source]

"So what are we up to?" one of the men asked. They were walking through a neighborhood very late at night.

"Damnit, I told you!" another replied, "we are finding a kid to bring to our island to imprison. The law has been tough lately on us child lovers, so it is important to keep it as secret as possible."

They went from house to house. They would stare through the window and watch little boys run around and see if they would be the one to kidnap. Sometimes the boy looked fine, but was well-mannered. Other boys were wild and crazy, just how the guys liked them, but they looked weird. Some didn't even have a son in the household!

"We are never going to find a kid!" one of the men shouted out, as they were walking to the last house on the street.

"Shut up! One more and if it isn't any good we will continue our search tomorow," the man said.

They came to the last house. The house of a boy named Max. Max was a big trouble-maker. The men gathered around the window and saw him chasing his dog around with a fork. The men all drooled over his speed and strength. Max was even wearing a little wolf costume, that looked extremely gay. They watched at another window as he pulled a chair out from under his mom as she was about to sit down. The men all liked his sense of dominance. Finally, at another window, they saw him pants his sister. They all screamed "EWWW!" and looked away at this site. Then looked back.

The kid was put in his room and wasn't allowed to eat for the night.

"He's perfect," one of the men said, "time to act."

Transformation[edit | edit source]

"Alright men, you know what to do," one of the guys said, "we can't just go off and kidnap him. We have to lure him out! Half of our work is done for us. He is rebellious, so we just have to spark his interest."

"Why can't we just kidnap him?" another said, "seems simpler."

"SHUT UP! DO YOU WANT THEM TO HEAR!" the first guy replied, "We need to follow the plan! Otherwise we are screwed! Or...aren't screwed. We need to slowly convert his bedroom into a forest and have him wonder out. Every few hours tonight, we are going to put a plant in his room, or a tree or something like that. Then we will wake him up and he will be confused, then fall back asleep. After we do that repeatedly five times, we are going to put him in the middle of a forest by the coast and he will think his room has transformed into a forest. Got it?"

"Yes sir!" the rest replied.

So once every hour that night, they would put a tree in his room, or a bush or vine and wake him up. The kid would think he was dreaming and fall back asleep. They did this for hours, and near two in the morning. The room was filled.

"Now it is time to kidnap him," the man said.

So they took him carefully out of his room. And carried him to a little forest right by the coast of the ocean. They laid him there and he slept for a bit longer. The monsters hid behind trees and watched.

"You know, he is asleep, and there is no one around," one of the men asked, "we could very easily just take him now and nobody would know."

"SHUT UP!" the other yelled, "DO YOU WANT TO WAKE HIM UP?!"

The shout of the man woke up little Max. He rubbed his eyes and stood up, observing the forest. He looked very puzzled.

"Did you put the boat in place?" one of the men whispered.

"Of course," another answer, "what is that for?"

"He will see it, get on it, and paddle. If I am right about the current, it will take him directly to our secret island," the first man said.

"Got it," the second replied.

The boy was growling and prowling around. The men all watched him from the trees and were drooling. They followed him as he walked to the coastline. Max saw the boat and jumped in. He untied the boat and rowed off. Meanwhile, the men all got in a powered boat, and quickly went to their island where they would wait.

Arrival[edit | edit source]

"He's here! WOOHOO!" "Don't touch him!"

"Got the suits on?" one of the men asked.

Another one answered, "Hey that one was supposed to be mine!"

"Shut up!" the first one said, "He will be here any minute! It doesn't take that long."

But, sadly, it did. They waited all through the day. Then a week. The weeks then turned into months and months into years. Yet, they still waited for the young boy. They waited and waited, without taking their eyes off the horizons. Suddenly though...

"SHIP!" one of the guys said.

They all started cheering and jumping around. The boat came closer and closer and they saw it was a little girl.

"What the hell!" the guy said, "This isn't the one! Sink her boat!"

So they did and waited some more. Another day, and another week, and another month and another year went by. Then, again, another boat come.

"That's the one!" so they cheered and growled and gnashed their costume's teeth and claws.

When the boy got on land he started gnashing his costumes claws too. He started prowling around so they followed him. They were just staying close by and growling back at him. The men tried to pounce on him but the first guy held them back. All of a sudden, the boy yelled, "STOP!"

They all stopped, and he ordered them to be quite.

"Hey," one of the guys whispered to another, "we have him all alone on an island away from everyone else. Can't we just get to it."

"You idiot!" another said back, "we need to make sure he feels important first, we got to do a few more things."

"This doesn't make sense..." the guy said.

They then got angry at each other and started wrestling. Max got between them and said to be quiet. They did.

King[edit | edit source]

"Oh jeez he is on my shoulders!" "SHUT UP! You will blow everything!"

"Okay this is getting really stupid!" the one of the men said, "first of all, we could've just kidnapped him like normal pedophiles. Next, when he was in the middle of the forest, no one was around to watch us take him anyways. And now! That we are hundreds of miles away from society, we can easily do anything we want!"

"SHUT UP!" another said, "do you want to blow everything!"

He was holding a crown and when Max came prowling on by, he put it on the young boy, and pronounced, "This kid, is king of us wild things!" He then put him on his shoulders, and all the other monsters started cheering.

Then Max said, "LET THE RUMPUS BEGIN!"

All the men in their suits started going towards the boy, grinning, before one of them turned to stop them all, "He doesn't mean it like that!"

They all stopped and started playing around. They danced around, climbed trees, and all sorts of crazy stuff. They were growling and prowling and dancing and prancing. When the night was over, they all went to go to sleep.

"Okay, we really need to do something," one of the men said, "this is just retarded."

"Just wait until tomorrow," another replied, "tomorrow will be the day. But for now, go to sleep."

A Smell[edit | edit source]

All of the monsters went to sleep and Max had his own little tent next to them. They all were tired, and dead asleep. Suddenly though, a smell came to Max. A delightful smell that warmed him. It was the dinner his mom had made him.

He wanted to eat the source of the smell. So he snuck out of his tent, and slowly went to his boat. When he got there, the sun had started rising, and the monsters started waking up. As he started paddling, he heard the screams of the monsters as they realized he was gone.

The monsters all ran to the shoreline. "Come back!" one of them shouted. They all started growling and screaming and growling. The boy didn't come back, and they had to watch him disappear into the distance.

"You know we have a motored boat, we can just go catch him and bring him back," one of them said.

"No, no," another answered, "he won this time, we must accept defeat."

They all took off their costumes and sat on the shoreline. They were all depressed.

Meanwhile, Max went home and got to his dinner.

...and it was still hot.
