MIAMI, FLORIDA - Viewers of the live CBS broadcast of Super Bowl XLI were shocked and morally outraged when funk musician Prince (AKA The Artist Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known as Prince) experienced a controversial wardrobe malfunction onstage at the end of the Pepsi Super Bowl XLI Halftime Show.

"The decision to have a costume reveal at the end of my halftime show performance was made after final rehearsals," Prince claims. "Originally I was only supposed to streak across the field while the cameras were off, but there was a last-minute change." A representative of Prince later elaborated that "[The accident] was a malfunction of the wardrobe; it was not intentional... Prince was supposed to pull away the bustier and leave a red-lace bra." It is unknown whether or not this would have actually caused more controversy.

Prince's "wardrobe malfunction" occurred at the end of his performance, revealing his right nipple on national television. The halftime show also controversially featured Billy Joel singing the national anthem wearing an American Flag and The Artist Formerly Known As P. Diddy repeatedly grabbing his crotch, as is typical.

However, surprisingly few people are aware of this controversy. Chuck Daleberg, average American, responded to this by saying "I only watch the Super Bowl for the ads." Another ignorant person, no doubt a terrorist, responded "What is this 'Super Bowl?
