Apparently, Sikon deleted The word parakeet written exactly two hundred and forty-two times earlier today. Even the talk page was deleted. I just have one question: why? --Sir Starnestommy Icons-flag-us.png (TalkContribsCUNCapt.) 09:34, August 30, 2007

Maybe he missed the fact that we voted to keep on VFD recently? -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
Is this the beginning of a wheelwar? /me sets up the deckchair, pulls the tab on a Windhoek lager...Pieface 12:22, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Quick Fact: Windhoek Lager was argubly the finest painter that the Netherlands ever produced. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 12:31, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Sikon is awesome in that case for deleting it.--Sir Manforman CUN.png 12:24, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Alas, the article is back. Golly, we could write a script to produce articles exactly like this one, without any actual human putting any effort into it at all. Wouldn't that be a good idea?! The word orangutan 193 times. The word hamster 452 times. So creative and funny! The word therapeutic 729 times. The word brassiere 328 times. Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! Repetition is so cool! See, it only took me a second to copy and paste that phrase. That is so cool it is refrigerated. Let's do it! Uncyclopedia could have a repetitive article for every word in the dictionary! And then we could do made-up words! The word gopro 643 times. The word vuro8t 534 times. YAY! ----OEJ 13:17, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

I think the factor that people find funny about it is just that, that it stands out as an abhoration against the norms (if we have them) of Uncyclopedia. If we had all the examples you've cited it wouldn't be funny. Or would it? -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)
But we could do all those examples without any human effort! Since it takes virtually no originality, creativity, or intelligence to make an article consisting solely of repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition repetition, then the more articles we have like that then the more unoriginal, uncreative, and unintelligent Uncyclopedia becomes! YAY! It's a lose-lose situation, just like upgrading a Microsoft product. And we already have AAAAA, and Party Hard, and Parakeet-copy-pasted-a-bunch-of-times, and God knows how many others. It's not an aberration, it a cliché. Oh, never mind. I'm just being a shithead again. ;) ----OEJ 15:06, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
Nobody cares about the stupidity of other people. Let 'em create unoriginal articles. Just don't let 'em get to VFH again. (Really starting to think blatantly stupid noms should be bannable.)  Sir Skullthumper, MD (criticize  writings  critchat) 15:18 Aug 30, 2007

I agree with one-eyed Jack. I get pissed off with each new repetition article that's created. I believe that a few ones are necessary, Like AAAAAAAAA!, All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and Contents. And yes, even parakeet would be entertaining if it already hadn't been done to death. Seriously, what's next? An UnTunes "song" where the same word is repeated with music? -- Kip the Egg Easter egg.gif Talk Easter egg.gif Works Easter egg.gif 21:13, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Oh, yeah, and Ct. Are you talking to me? -- Kip the Egg Easter egg.gif Talk Easter egg.gif Works Easter egg.gif 21:20, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
"Party hard! <Par-tee!> Party hard! <Par-tee!> Woo, yeah! <Par-tee!> Etcet ra! <Etcet-rah!>..." Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 21:17, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
It's been done if not slightly bent...What's next? An UnScript consisting of people saying the same word?~ Tophatsig.png 30/08/2007 @ 21:18
If combined with the correct concept (ie: a Great Expectations film for immigrants) then it could be funny....ish.-Sir Ljlego, GUN VFH FIYC WotM SG WHotM PWotM AotM EGAEDM ANotM + (Talk) 00:23, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
