Name explains it all. I would perfer it to be on two artices that try to contradict eachother – Preceding unsigned comment added by Happy Weasel (talk • contribs)

Feel free. Keep in mind that they will be quickly reverted, and that templates show that you care about a page, but not enough to make a real edit. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 05:36, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
You have permission to add any template that add content and humor to the article and not at the expense of it. ---Quill.gifRev. Isra (talk) 08:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

The template he's talking about is this:

Firepoo.gif ITS POO AGAIN!!
The article you are view is propagating lies and is therefore full of shit.
This article is a flaming dog turd and should be stomped on...but if you do that, there would be crap all over your $6000 b00ts.

Can somebody please tell me if I'm justified going around clearing this off pages or whether it's really very appropriate and I've just gone temporarily blind to reason? --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 08:51, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

You're blind to reason. I just cleared it off, and am debating banishing the creator into the fires of hell until the ends of time. That's reason. Anything less is not. HTBFANJS, Happy Weasel. Content, not clutter. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 14:41

It appears that we have creative differnces. When I have time to day, I will try to revive this articles, but I will change the subject matter and take the HTBFANJS into account. However, I will be wary if that is just a way to gain a moral high ground for trying to silence creative differences.Happy Weasel 16:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

No creative difference here at all. Because that wasn't creative. It was a thoughtless hack job. Because 1) Making a shitty template doesn't add anything to an article, and 2) Articles which contradict each other are expected here. There is nothing "full of shit" in articles that don't match. What's next? A "nonfactual" template? Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 17:21

...and who gets to decide what is creative? I see where you are comming from, but I think you are being unreasonably hostile here. Happy Weasel 17:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

That's my style. All the other ones were taken. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 17:41

So theres only a limited number of styles?Happy Weasel 17:43, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah. They gave out the good ones the day Uncyclopedia started. Those of us who showed up a day or two later had to get the sucky ones. I'm still not sure how Bradaphraser ended up with "Mr. Nice Guy", coming in as late as he did. They must have added a few styles after I got mine.
To be fair, I should explain a little about my hatred for templates. Slapping a copy of the same template on many pages takes no real time, effort, creativity, or intelligence. We've had hundreds of templates created, and slapped on thousands of pages. Rarely do they actually make the article better. If you don't like an article, edit it. Come up with a creative way to express what you are feeling. USE YOUR WORDS!
The whole point of this site is to be an Encyclopedia of Misinformation and Lies ™, not a graffiti wall with bumper-stickers slapped on all the good artwork. If you really want to contribute, pick an article, and write something clever into it like it was an encyclopedia article. If you haven't read it yet, READ THIS. It is perhaps one of the most important paragraphs here. Templates are all about saving time. To write something well, you need to spend some time on it. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 18:09

I know, but they are sooooooo cool...and I do contribute words, I basically adopted the Holy Bible Revised NeoCon Edition.

You do get a bit fed up of them after you've been around a while though... And thanks Famine, for your Bad Cop style - someone needs to do it! Unless of course thanking you will get me gruffly banned, in which case I will just do an imperceptible nod in your direction.  :) --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 19:30, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
What will get you banned is ignoring this. The 12px limit goes for text as well as images. I've been meaning to harass you about it, but I was waiting to lump it with some other harassment. Basically, when you use the upper and lower text, you create a > 12px line, which breaks up lines. I urge you and others with sigs like yours to be creative admist our harsh constraints. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 19:41
Ooh - righty-ho - I'll get right on it - hadn't noticed that rule. I think it's also that silly S at the beginning being too big for it's boots - I'll see if I can shrink it. Still, I'm oddly proud you didn't find any other complaints to lump it with yet! (No, wait, that's just tempting fate...) --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 21:05, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Right - that's better - one squished signature. With added question marks! If anyone knows how to make the "(but)" vertically centre itself, the input would be much appreciated. --Strange.PNG (but) Untrue  Whhhy?Whut? How? *Back from the dead* 22:25, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
Very true, SbU. Famine's style compliments mine very well. (For more information, read Good cop/Bad cop). Oh, and for the record, insulting authors only work if they think it's funny, too. If they do, though, and the template doesn't end up being some kind of eyesore (which most do), then go for it. I haven't seen the template, but if Famine objects, that's probably the reason.<<Bradmonogram.png>> 19:42, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

I have been working on a new template. Perhaps this one will work. Happy Weasel 21:50, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

I think you are missing the point...instead of working on a template, work on one of the articles. That's the whole point of me being the bad cop up there. We have tons of shitty templates already. We'll never have too many good articles. Let the template fascination go, and fix up an article. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 03/23 22:58

Will you help with some of mine then? Happy Weasel 00:34, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
