- The editing toolbar is weird and different. Also, this looks nothing like Oasis. -- TKFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK 00:29, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

- The editing toolbar is new and wonderful and smells like peaches and lesbians and the both of you can go fuck yourselves if you don't like it. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sat, Jan 5 '13 12:00 (UTC)
- Alternately you can turn it off in your preferences. Go to editing, uncheck 'enhanced editing toolbar' under beta features, and if you want the old one instead, make sure 'Show edit toolbar (requires JavaScript)' is checked. -— Lyrithya ༆ 16:26, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
Resolved issue: Search function
|
Description:
- I think you need to modify your algorithms for the search system. I started writing a stub article on my user page; "The Golf War" after searching "The Golf War" and finding nothing remotely rellevent. After almost finnishing, minus some requested images, I later searched "Golf War" and was immediately redirected. bfw, MINE'S FUNNIER! --31.125.232.67 02:35, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- I will just link to my reply to this user on his talk page. We are considering getting an improved search engine, but in the meantime, use a Google site-specific search.
|
Resolution: Not really a bug, but we may improve the search function in the future.

Resolved issue: An IP has a question
|
Description:
- Don't you think it would be easier if the formatting system with regards to new lines and spaces between pragraphs were more standard? I don't know if you guys are trying to limit the number of small, cheap paragraphs in articles but i think that formatting is important in articles and also that in humour, rythmic spacial relliefe is important. --31.125.232.67 02:35, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, formatting is important. There's no real standard method of formatting on this wiki, I don't think. People just use whatever looks best. But, yes, formatting is important.

Bug report: Limp boner

Resolved issue: Huh?
|
Description:
- Yeah, I have a bug. This site is totally difficult to use. Why am i able to edit things like conversational posts other people have made but not an actual artical? Secondly, don't you all think it might be a little easier if we could just use representitive graphical word processing instead of all this obscure pros and formatting type stuff? Thirdly can someone please tell me how I can submit an idea with some quantity of description appended to it? Fourthly, cock. Fithithly In your unlimited ellite power, please use metaphysical computerificness to write the answer, if any onto my pupils (make sure you write it backwards) because otherwise I have absolutly no idea how to communicate with other uncylopediens effectively. Thanks – Preceding unsigned comment added by TheNerdKing (talk • contribs)
- Um... the obscure formatting-type stuff is... man, I just really don't know how to respond to this. You do know what a wiki is, right? Here's a link for formatting help, and then there's this explanation of what a wiki is, and then there's this explanation of what a wiki is, and then there's THIS explanation of what Uncyclopedia is, and then I'm out of ideas. Like, stuff, and shit, man. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Wed, Jan 9 '13 14:04 (UTC)

- It's the new fancy Wiki-editor that you're hatin' on. Try Lyrithya's advice from above:

Resolved issue: Email notifications, deletion request
|
Description:
I have mine set to “Email if my talk page…” but not “…if my watchlist…”, but I'm not getting any notifications. Am I alone with email notification issues? Does this server hate me? Nominally Humane! 06:38 06 Jan
- Nope, that would be my fault; I'm still ironing out issues with the mail system. Check your spam folder; Yahoo (for one) didn't seem to like our notifications, but was sorted out. Other mail domains might still be funneling our notifications to "spam" or "bulk"; if there's nothing in your spam folder, please report back so I may debug. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sun, Jan 6 '13 6:43 (UTC)
- Ah. There they are. I'm on @live.com.au. And I hate spam filters. Nominally Humane! 07:42 06 Jan
- <sarcasm veil="thin">Hotmail is the best.</sarcasm> ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sun, Jan 6 '13 10:07 (UTC)
- I don't understand this high faluting coder talk. Speaking of which, I asked a favour of ZB on his talkpage, but if any other *ahem* admin *ahem* wants to give it a shot, I'd appreciate it. Nominally Humane! 11:15 06 Jan
- I'm not a real admin, I have to get someone else to actually delete stuff. Haven't been given VFS approval. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sun, Jan 6 '13 11:30 (UTC)
- I don't need a real admin, just someone with admin access. You can hack it up again 5 seconds after deletion - I'm just wanting to test the code is all. Alternatively, create a page for the purpose of deletion. Nominally Humane! 12:00 06 Jan
- Because my connection is so slow, it would probably be simpler for me to delete a bunch of pages using my bot, which is on a fast server somewhere. I'll have to get permission first, though. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sun, Jan 6 '13 12:16 (UTC)
- Do you mind chatting to ZB about it then? Nominally Humane! 12:31 06 Jan
- He says "just wait us to get the batch deleter working." My bot isn't configured yet, anyway; I'm trying to get it fixed up to blast through the wiki and replace hard-coded links to the old wiki site. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sun, Jan 6 '13 12:53 (UTC)
- Yeah my Hotmail address is also treating uncyc notifications as spam... I've got continual issues with another domain I manage with the same problem - I just found >this thread< which has a few tips that may help someone who has these sort of superpowers? - Strainj1 09:42, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Resolved issue: Pages missing?
|
Description:
Where's my Ohio State University page? MagicBus (talk) 18:04, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- Here. Sorry the redirect isn't still in your userspace, but some things that were edited in the past couple of days got lost in the move. ~ BB ~ (T) ~ Sat, Jan 5 '13 18:52 (UTC)
- I added it! I also changed my user page to the one on Wikia. MagicBus (talk) 18:55, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- yeah about 1000+ pages from the old wiki are missing (looking at Special:Statistics on both sites) if you find a missing article let an admin know and they can import it for you. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 02:43, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, the statistics discrepancy may be mostly just because I never configured the content namespaces. Someone should probably do that. -— Lyrithya ༆ 10:05, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hello MagicBus, we are done mass importing pages. For like, two or three days. If you need, I can import any pages you have missing. In that case, a lot of the imports with edits around Jan 5th (a day or two before etc.) will have versions missing from the most recent versions.--Sir Peasewhizz de New York (Chat) (Stalk?) 02:08, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Resolved issue: Press Release still showing up for anons
|
Description:
- Anon-IPs still get only Uncyclopedia:Press Release - move from Wikia on every page, and no other content. Carlb (talk) 16:13, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah it's supposed to be like that until the new wiki is fully working as it should be. Although I think anons should be allowed to read pages just not edit them for now. ~Sir Frosty (Talk to me!) 22:38, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
