In response to Anothernoob's complaints about the quality, I thought I'd inform you about two ways to create pretty high quality gif animations:
Just thought this might come in handy.
23:01, 20 January 2011- I dunno; it looked pretty decent to me, and I'm a right loon when it comes to being finicky around animations. Could convert a lot of the sections to greyscale and nobody'd be likely to notice, though... or wash the similar hued bits through with a single hue to decrease the colours it tries to approximate through the conversion... neh. Is the game worth it, though? That's the real question. ~ 23:12, 20 January 2011
- I agree Puppy's animation isn't as bad as Anothernoob makes it out to be, especially not if you take into account that it's a gif, but I don't know how he created this gif and maybe some of the stuff I linked can help him make even better animations.
- I could have done it better - reduced some of the colour schema and tightening the graphic, but the idea was to show a better way of doing a game. Honestly it's not worth the effort of redoing it to improve the quality. As far as I'm concerned I was trying to bring this up from {{ICU}} level, and I've had resistance, so I'm giving them the option of a PEE review, and more time.
