The first Soviet sattelite launched. Its ability to block sunlight and refract it were very useful for the Party. Supression of pathetic peasants demanding was now simply a matter of blocking their sunlight, and the powerful Vampire Beaureacrats of the Politburo could now undertake their business in refracted twilight.
