Ideas for ICU and "New User Month"

ZB, why not just get rid of the 7-day notice on ICU? Just put the "This article needs more work" tag on it, and they'll see it. They won't be discouraged or afraid of their article getting deleted, they'll just get help with it. Also, maybe try making a quicker Pee Review alternative, such as a QPRV, and have an IRC channel so they can get advice for the article at any time. I just linked Uncyclopedia:Forest Fire Week in a joke within a New Year's Eve themed article strategically set to be featured on Monday. If you could change the redirect the new forum place, if for any reason for some kind of minor publicity, that'd be greeeeat. Quick js test (admin access needed)

The one thing that I can't check properly is the submission of the auto-delete. BB or Lyrithya could probably do this better, but I'm not as good a coder as they are. could you:

add importScript( "User:PuppyOnTheRadio/autodelete.js" ); to your User:Zombiebaron/common.js file and
visit this link. If I've got it right it should auto-delete my user page with a reson of "Test delete".

There's nothing nasty in the code - all it is is this, which in short says "if the url has "autodelete=yes" in it then submit the form."

Oh - if you know of a decent wiki where I can get admin access to test this stuff myself I'd appreciate a nod in that direction. The wiki where I have admin access at present runs on an old version of MW and has server issues. Nominally Humane! 10:57 06 Jan

So, have you and your technical group decided whether or not there is anything for me to do? I asked on IRC, but idk if you heard... anyways, I'd be glad to help set up other language versions and the unMeta (especially the unMeta), if you guys need that. I could bullshit up a nice resume from Wikimedia if you haven't found it already, but it would be more practical to just say I know what I'm doing with back-end development stuff, such as global unified logins and setting up new projects. Definitely not the other back-end stuff, I leave that to others. The highest scoring articles on VFH right now are Don't judge a book by its cover and Mexico with 6 each. The first article has the highest "for" votes (11) but the second has the lowest against votes (1). All the Welsh interlanguage links now point to cy:Hafan -- the main page -- instead of wherever they're supposed to go. For example, if I say cy:Plaid Cymru, it does not go to http://cy.uncyclopedia.org.uk/wiki/Plaid_Cymru but to the main page. I believe what you have to do is go into the interwiki table on Special:Interwiki and replace http://cy.uncyclopedia.org.uk with http://cy.uncyclopedia.org.uk/wiki/$1. 43 wasn't a work in progress. It was done, or so I thought. It had everything in it that the French article had; it was merely a translation. I thought it was acceptable. It is also considered acceptable on Wikia Uncyc. Why, then, did you delete it? I suppose you just looked at the tag and saw that it was expired. The tag was unjustified. Please undelete it. That way you will save yourself the trouble of deleting it again because I've recreated it - because that's what I will do if you don't put it back. It's a perfectly good article in my opinion. If it's not quite up to your standards, please just explain what's wrong with it rather that deleting it. Or at least put it in my userspace. Right now UnNews:Islamic controversies ruining 9/11 celebrations across the country has 12 votes on the queue. Leverage left this comment and I've been holding off on passing the article until someone else could answer this. Would it be possible to feature the article today and then again in September? How are you old chap? Just passing in my capacity as occasional browser and continuing Uncyclopedia fan. I notice you have tagged a couple of pages that I really like for FFW, and I'm here to plead for their future. I re-wrote Leeds some time ago, and while it's not for everyone, I flatter myself that it's a cut above most towncruft and has had some good feedback. People like it - not just those from Leeds. It may not be feature-worthy without extra work, but I hope it's decent enough to not be huffed - will you reconsider. As for Allah: The Annotated Version - this is one of my favourite pages on the wiki. I have had nothing to do with it except reading it and enjoying it, but I wonder why you think it needs work or deletion - again, I think it's fine the way it is. Also, regarding an article I requested a tag for earlier, another user requested the removal of the tag earlier, but the tag's expired. Me, I just wanted this shit off Uncyclopedia to make room for new articles about Pokémon (possibly including a translation of the Japanese version). What you describe sounds like the nick you tried to use is registered. If you did not register the nick that means that somebody else did. I recommend that you choose and unregistered nick and register it so avoid this happening again. Probably the best way to do this would be to set up a bouncer (or use someone else's) and then read the logs from the bouncer. There are no publicly accessible logs of the channel, but you could get someone to email you their logs I guess.
