Vector tab question

Sorry for disturbing but, I was wondering how to add an extra vector tab so that it functions like the "share tab" here (I am not an expert in javascript). I've copied all of the necessary parts that would make it work, but I'm struggling to get the actual button to show up and tried tweaking the "Share.js" but nothing seems to work.

I know that

function createTab() { addPortletLink( 'p-views', wgArticlePath.replace(.....),... ); } addOnloadHook( createTab );

generates an additional tab in Vector but I've got no idea what to put inside ( 'p-views', wgArticlePath.replace(.....),... ).

As you may know, I usually check block logs. I see this was an issue of reverting which I know is a banning offence on a featured article. I am just questioning if one week is too long or was it because he had reverted an admin? New or relatively new users are not always up to speed on this. I also saw that this contributor had worked on some articles as well and therefore doesn't appear to be a card-carrying vandal like Gomphog. I'm all for branching out into different media, but usually in conjunction with a written base. A video that can stand alone on its article has to be damn funny and have plenty of original contribution. Your video couldn't stand on its own because it was definitely more of an "attack ad" than an actual news video. I could care less about your politics, but the only original contribution you made was "ominous hovertext" and splicing together news footage in a frightfully unabridged, droning fashion.
