I thought that new unused files would be safe. So you plan to delete all the new files uploaded every day? And the Special Pages Unused Files will be gone too? I've used that for so many pics, and putting pics on pages. You should really, seriously, leave that 1,000 alone at least, although huff the very obvious ones (When Lyrth was playing with that deathlist I asked to save a few, they were saved, and now I see them on unused files again). Why don't you leave the good uploaded daily files be (of course the vanity ones and obviously bad ones could be huffed) and let people build up a collection of good unused images again. Ok, maybe I still don't understand your point of view Aleister, but why exactly do we need a huge library of unused images? Every time I need an image for an article, I just do a google image search. I do, however, like your idea, and I will probably start my own personal gallery for saving new images from UnusedFiles, but still the bulk of them will be deleted and I don't think any of them will just be left sitting around unused. I meant unused pics uploaded daily. My point of view has been ignored, shat on, fucked over, and left to rot on the side of the road until some hillbilly kicks it then leaves it laying there. "I don't think any of them will be left sitting around unused", there is one point of view plainly spoken, and like I've said, I don't understand why any other admins have stepped in to protect our library here. Google is limited with what it has, and you need specific requests. Here you can just type in [[File:B and then get a whole list of pics to look at, and I've used hundreds of them like that. It's like used book stores where you can be surprised by a book - now most used book stores are closing and going on line so you can't just poke around and see what's there in the corners and behind things. That's what I use unused images for, and it has worked for me so far, so why not just leave a couple of thousand build up again? I don't understand your point of view of haaving to huff every unused image, I really don't. It seems very counter-productive to me, especially if at least some users request that you do so. p.s. Also, I categorize pics so people just have to go look in a category to find something. I just know that my experience here is probably going to be diminished by your project, the things I do here and how I've operated with pics will now change to some degree, hopefully not to a huge degree but it may. Value has been lost, not gained. So I guess we just don't understand each others point of view at all.

If you didn't remove the links from the list as well, that would be why they were huffed, but that should be enough in the future, though, as we'll actually be going off the special pages then, I suspect. If you you list all the files on that page Zombles linked, I'm sure one of us will be happy to bring them back for you, or you can give me or the undead the links to the pages, if you prefer.

That being said, if Al does it that way it's not unlikely that there are others that do it that way. I'll disagree mildly. These guys are cleaning up the joint. I lost four Audios, two illustrations from my articles, and a handful of graphics from UnNews, all of which were cheerfully refunded. It blocks numbers on new lines - any numbers - with spaces or tabs after them. In this case it was reacting to the comments, but Skully modified them; just need to use a space before the bumber or some such to avoid it. If the spam filter reacts again, though, you'll want to pester him. He's the one who understands this stuff. 1234 ~ 03:38, 19 March 2011

For the list of deleted games (including ones that were deleted without a VFD) you will have to look through the logs. I have a javascript that allows me to filter log pages, that might be helpful. Here is a list of games that have been kept on VFD:

Sockpuppets and bots

I know we've had some wonderful talks about my sockpuppets before, but Haydrahlienne was supposed to be a bot. Apparently I've been piling on so much javascript with my main account that one of my bot functions mated with one of my interface functions this morning, so another account, even without the flags (which apparently I'd never get, anyway, something about a lack of trust), would still be worthwhile just for the containment.

I don't understand what "language problem" you're talking about, but when editing a template you should keep in mind that your changes will effect several pages. Perhaps a better solution might be to steal the code for the Movie Infobox and then change it to meet the specific needs of your article. I can help with that if you like.
