Hey. I think we ought to be careful copying and pasting from the old site. Number one, we ought to ask permission to the author(s) (I don't think mnbvcxz was that taken with the idea when someone suggested it) and number two, I don't think we should do it unless the page in question is exceptional. Our UnNews at the moment now has some old stories from the wikia site among its newest articles; I get the point is to beef up the story count, but I think it should be the exception not the rule. I agree. UncycloWikia's UnNews is kicking our collective arses, but that should be motivation for us to kick it up a notch. Competition is vital to excellence. -- Kip the Egg Easter egg.gif Talk Easter egg.gif Works Easter egg.gif 15:14, Jan. 21, 2013
If I understand the license we can reproduce it as long as we attribute, right? --TheBorrower (talk) 19:22, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

KIP: If mnbvcxz had gone on a sex holiday to Thailand January 4th, about 75% of the articles from both sites would be missing. I think that shows what one person who is inclined to write an article over lunch a day can do. But I also dislike forcing articles, I feel like you write for writing's sake, and some on the other site, eg. [1] report a vaguely absurd news story, but make no real jokes about it. The solution to me is to spread word on social networking sites and get our friends involved as writers.
Borrower: I guess, but to be honest, I personally would like to be asked if it were my article. Today I came across some audio SPIKE just made (he has a good voice for Silent radio) and, given that he was quite critical of this site, I don't think we ought to feature his work without permission.
