Your username[edit source]

Hey! I saw on your userpage that you misspelled your intended username. If you'd like me to change your username to Wageslave I totally can. -- The Zombiebaron 19:19, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

No, I am happy with my mistake. It sounds funny, like I am a miserable low paid office worker from Poland or Russia.--Wageslav (talk) 19:24, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
Haha ya I agree. -- The Zombiebaron 19:37, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

Spambot[edit source]

Wow, great work! This is a marvellous rewrite, you know? And the wittiest spam page I've ever read. I added it to Template:Recent. I am now impatient to read any new articles by you, is anything else coming up? Anton (talk) 23:29, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

I'm writing an article on trigger warnings.--Wageslav (talk) 04:04, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
Passed the test! Great suspense buildup and great final article. The only problem I have is that kitten pictures can be very triggering for people whop have tragically lost pets, but all seems fine apart from that. Anton (talk) 09:43, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

How...[edit source]

does that 'multiple views' on same page work? Icons-flag-au.png MUN MyOwnBadSelf, The HMC Writer (talk - stalk - block) 02:02, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

I sort of copied what the xkcd and the Game:Alone_in_the_Dark page did, which used the mediawiki #switch parser function and the {{Goto}} and {{Get}} template to output different stuff depending on the number returned by the {{Get}} thing. Like, the #switch returns something different depending on the input value, which was defined by the {{Get}} thing, and if you changed its value it'd output something different, based on what you made it output. I don't really understand it that well I just copied the code from those two pages. Honestly I'm no expert, I'm using templates that some smart people made.
 {{#switch: {{Get}}
 |0=Apple
 |1=Pear
 |2=Orange
 }}

This is just an example, so if you wanted it to output 'Orange' you'd make a link like {{Goto|2|Oranges are great}} (and the 'Oranges are great' part is just text) or something, and then it'd output 'Orange' because you set the input value to 2 using the Goto template. Just look at the source for this page and it should explain it I think.

Apple

Apples are awesome

Pears are cool

Oranges are great

Featuring[edit source]

I have featured Trigger Warning for the 7th of September. For now I pasted the whole darn thing in there. Will that work on the front page, do you know? Leverage (talk) 20:45, 2 September 2015 (UTC)

Like putting the whole article on the featured article box thing? Probably not. Maybe something like this could work. It should look fine with smaller width.– roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 01:27, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

TRIGGER WARNING!

The trigger warning for this site's article on Trigger warnings may contain potentially upsetting and/or hurtful content. If your feelings get bruised like ripe bananas, if you consider being called a professional victim a badge of honor, if you think being called names on Twitter gives you PTSD, you are more than welcome to close your browser window and set your monitor on fire. We won't judge. Otherwise, proceed with caution. You are a brave soul. You don't have to do this, we love you.

Cool, I stuck that in there. I think it's for 4 or 5 days' time. Leverage (talk) 08:10, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Star Wars[edit source]

Can you possibly help me with the Star Wars prequel articles? Mhalie added some stuff to them, but I feel like the production sections are still a bit lacking. Attack of the Clones looks like it could be an FA with a little more work.--EpicWinner (talk) 23:07, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

VFH[edit source]

Hey Wageslav! I left for a week, came back and you're still around writing? Your enthusiasm knows no limits. If you stay here for long enough, you'll single-handedly revive Uncyclopedia. Anyway. I wanted to ask you if you I could interest you with an exquisite assorti of Uncyclopedia articles that have been on VFH for month(s) and which nobody bothers to vote on anymore? It'd be greatly appreciated. Anton (talk) 15:16, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. – roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 05:42, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
for the Russia template can you please apply just the title bar gradient? Thank you ~Formerly Annoying Crap 07:53, 22 September 2015
Like put the Russian flag gradient on the older design? And I looked back at the history and it turns out you did the redesign that I redesigned, which must have been a faux-pas on my part. I was writing this comment and turns out you already redesigned it which is fine, although I did like what I did on that template which I also did on {{Leaders of Mother Russia}}. – roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 15:57, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
Sorry, those templates are commandeered for UN:TPS. Make sure you put the correct template name in the {{navbarmini|TEMPLATENAME}}, ok? Also, if you sign up here you can win tons more free prizes. ~Formerly Annoying Crap 20:06, 22 September 2015

Leaders of Mother Russia[edit source]

Can you change it back to the old format? The new one looks really bad. 208.167.254.242 (talk) 19:19, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

That's the point. Do you know where you are? Wikipedia is over this way ~Formerly Annoying Crap 19:25, 22 September 2015
I personally think that the more minimalist design I made looks nicer (no offense), but this is a free wiki and I'd rather not get into an edit war. An edit war over templates seems pretty lame. – roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 20:33, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
Hmm, I think Stalin likes the new template design very much. Why? You don't like Russian babies? Russian babies good! Grow strong, proud Russians! Template likes you! Like template!!! ~Formerly Annoying Crap 20:55, 22 September 2015

In your template code, <div class="NavContent" style="display: none"> the style="display: none" causes a display glitch requiring two clicks to show the template. ~Formerly Annoying Crap 03:42, 23 September 2015
I think it's a mediawiki thing, maybe putting <div class="NavContent collapsed"> could work. roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 04:02, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
Nope. – roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 04:05, 23 September 2015 (UTC)

A project...[edit source]

I have a request, if you're up for it. I need some social networking templates. One that looks like a tweet box, a facebook post, an instagram, etc. Little modifyable modules. What do you think? ~Formerly Annoying Crap 08:02, 28 September 2015

We need your help![edit source]

Attention: Fellow Uncyclopedian!! We need your help! Mutatis mutandis, we aim to bring order and justice intra fauces terrae, but we only succeed through the tireless efforts of superb editors like you. Deorum injuriae diis curae.  So enough with the legalese and SIGN UP already!

An embedded tweet, like on web pages and so on? There's already the Twitter article with templates. Making a fake one should be doable, actually embedding tweets or instagram posts on the site and you'd have to ask an admin, can't help you there. Otherwise, if I have the time I'll see what I can do. – roza (talk ☭ ctbslog) 04:35, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
Okay, I have the tweet already but I still need modules for other social networks. Fake of course but as real-looking as possible. At your leisure, no worries. I know, you deserve a raise. ~Formerly Annoying Crap 08:17, 29 September 2015
