Your review for Fruit Sallad is done! --Tagstit 16:50, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Hey[edit source]

Hey when I review something of yours its MY opinion on it! It isn't what you HAVE to do or even SHOULD do. It is merely what I would do if writing the article! And you can't really change that, because that is how I felt about it while you felt a different way. If you think it is good though nominate it for VFH and see how it does. Sorry you don't agree with me though! We're still cool ;). --Tagstit 15:46, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

NOTM[edit source]

Hey! Congratulations on your nomination for Noob of the Month!--Tagstit 19:29, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

Review[edit source]

Thanks alot with your review. Since you have started the quality and input in your reviews has gone up tremendously. You nailed it when you said I put in the homeless part just for length. And your prose tips helped alot. Thanks again.--Tagstit 14:55, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Just in Case You Didn't Know[edit source]

I nominated you for noob of the month. Hope it goes well! ~SirTagstitVFHNotMPEEINGCPTRotMBFF 01:40, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Also, I looked at your nomination for VFH, and the voter with the URL seems very suspicious. He never even touched anything else in the entire site and only votes for the only nomination you have ever had. Now, I am not saying you DID do this, because it very well MIGHT be someone else, but I don't know who would do that though. If this was just an attempt to get a measly .5 in your score that is very cheap and people will find that out sooner or later and respect will be lost. Besides that though good work! Good luck on everything!~SirTagstitVFHNotMPEEINGCPTRotMBFF 02:15, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Sweet, thought I was already nominated for noob of the month by UU as your opponent though =P , but thanks for nominating me =) As for the .5 point I havent even gone to VFH today so I have no clue as to what you're talking about. And no I would never vote twice for myself. I gave myself 1 vote which i clearly signed. Wouldnt dream of cheating. I sure hope they can check out that IP cuz I dont want anuyone thinking I'm a cheater! Cheers =D --kit 08:42, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Edits to Star Trek Online[edit source]

This is uncyclopedia, of course people wille dit my articles. Still, while I can and simply still care I'll try and keep them neat and clean. I really appreciate all the small help and corrections people have added. As for the section about Character classes, it had good ideas but felt a bit poorly written. I liked the redshirt idea as well as the doctor idea but the others were simply too satirical and non original to fit in. Its way to cheap and easy to criticize the captain and engineers like that in my opinion. Try doing it with more finess. I'm not sure if that section was added by an IP or by InfinteMonkey but please edit it and better it. Also try adding it to the character part of the article as a subsection perhaps; not in the beginning where it really felt ou of place.

In conclusion; I really liked the idea. It just needs some tuning and I sure hope you'll rewrite it and add it =) Hopes this clears up my thoughts on that =) Thanks MrN9000, Prettiestpretty, Sycamore and IronLung for your fiddles and personal touches ;) Cheers to you! --kit 21:56, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Reviews[edit source]

Hi again Kit, nice to see you about the place. Your reviews, as Tagstit said up there, are coming along in leaps and bounds. You easily meet the entry criteria for PEEING, if you're interested, so if you want to, pop over and sign up! (If you don't want to, then don't, no biggie!) Cheers! --UU - natter UU Manhole.gif 22:57, Feb 9

Hahaha, great one! Well we seem to appreciate the same kind of humour! Nice template too! Gotta learn how to make those one of these days =) Cheers to you and your article, I have no doubts it'll be featured anyday now. --kit 17:28, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for voting[edit source]

And now, a special message from the President *pff...hehe* of the United States
You see, Obama, America just isn't ready for an Islamabad president quite yet. That was your problem. Never go against the Lord. My fellow Uncyclopedians,
This past vote on VFH has been an emotional one for our wiki. The people have spoken, and I am honorated to accept the privilegitude to servify the Uncyclopedia front page for another eight years.
What do you mean, articles are only featured for one day?
Thank you for voting. Much love, Sir SysRq (talk)

Just when I thought the last joke about G.W Bush had been told you made me laugh! Damned you be SysRq! ;) Cheers --kit 22:32, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

Hahaha, I really though it was part of uncyclopedia first but it really seems to be legit O.o Thats just crazy and awesome. There should be a mandatory link to that page somewhere on uncyclopedia. Damned you be agaen shall thar nut be one (Scottish being only my 7th language I'm not too good at it yet) --kit 23:39, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Not Scottish, Scots. The Scots Wikipedia is one of those jokes only a few of us like to giggle about here and there. Perhaps a Main Page reskin is in order, via Babel:Scots. I'll talk to someone about that. Sir SysRq (talk) 23:44, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Right scots, whereas scots is the language and scottish are the people speaking it. ... Hahaha, i'm still confused wheter that page is for real or just one really elaborate joke. In any case, yeh, a link to it would surely give more people a chance at a good hysterical laugh giggle =) --kit 23:52, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
It's forrizzle. That's what makes it even better. Sir SysRq (talk) 00:13, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the review[edit source]

I really appreciate your effort, it'll help me fix some issues in the article. I've commented on your review, and would appreciate a discussion on how the article can be improved. If you'd like, feel free to modify and edit Safari or any other article I've started. Prose and Formatting aren't my thing and would love help in this area. Aizmov 06:06, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

For donating high quality material to the Pee Review.

Thanks for reviewing Negotiation - I found it extremely helpful and incredibly well meaning, you should definitely keep at it, some of your other reviews that I read have been quite exceptional too, through my eyes: it's the kind of reviewing that fills in the gaps at PEE! Anyway, as for the review, I understand the low scoring for the concept, which hindered the humour a lot. The concept I thought up of was much to progressive, as in the other half of the set of wheels is hidden from the reader (even as it is supposed to be the reader), and is practically lost to mankind, therefore the humour is far too subtle, as you said. I had a few other ideas on how to tackle this subject, one of them being that each section would look at different negotiations as they go on, such as the duly noted negotiation for the article itself, a section on convincing someone not to jump from a building, and another section on talking someone into giving up their job for another, more adventurous, one. The sections would each be with different people, but I obviously went along with mish-mashing them all into one character. I suppose the best idea would be to add that missing party, that replaces the reader (to kick out the confusion within the article). It'd probably become a story, hence why your suggestion of an UnBook makes sense. However, I am adamant to hit the actual article on Negotiation right on the head. If I put my writing skills to the test, I could perhaps write it in a story form, describing each of the different scenarios in a different light, whilst adding a second party. I'm unsure - either way, I have plenty of time to think, I won't be able to work on anything new for a while anyway!

On top of that, thanks for the scoring on the prose! I'm hoping to take English at university in two years time. --SoIwastolazytolearnGermanic.jpg-kun "whisper sweet nothings into thine ear..." 12:14, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Blushing. Oh well geez. Thx =) I like to think that when I take the time to review someones work I do it thoroughly. I'm glad you could share some of my views and opinions and I have high hopes for this article. Your original ideas seems more of what I had in my mind when thinking of a concept for this theme. Anyway, I'll sure enjoy reading it when your done whatever it has become. As for taking English at university I have no doubt that will indeed suit you just right. Looking forward to review more of your work, cheers =) --kit 14:01, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Your comment on the 21st Century Nazis nomination made me LOL. It did leave me a little confused as to why you didn't vote? I sure could use a vote or two to balance out the IP votes. *nudge nudge* -OptyC Sucks! Icons-flag-us.png CUN21:44, 25 Feb

LOL was kind of the reaction I was going for so I'm glad it did. As for the voting I simply havent made up my mind. I do appreciate the article but I'm not sure. Don't worry though since I'm leaning in your favor. I'll sleep on it =) Cheers --Kit talk 21:48 25 February 22px-Flag of Sweden.png

Good day, old chap! Thank you indeed for your vote on my article, UnBooks:Hot Japanese Girls - Colourblind or Unable to Speak English?.

Sigs and how to make them[edit source]

Here. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 11:37, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Yes thank you. A while ago I looked for that link without finding it but eventually managed to create a sig in a way of my own. Does it not follow the restrictions or something ? Is it the flag thats too big?--Kit talk 10:56 14 March 22px-Flag of Sweden.png
The sig is fine, it's just in the wrong place. Hit "edit". See how my sig is in its own sig parking space, while your sig is parked sideways across two lanes of traffic? Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 13:06, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Yeh so what =P Don't you drive across several lanes of traffic when you're out driving? Its funnier that way =) But custom do as custom is so now i park properly as everyone else ;) Cheers --Kit talk 22px-Flag of Sweden.png
While we aren't big on rules here, the sig "rule" exists to save people from seeing a wall of code every time they edit a page. Seeing such things has been known to drive men quite mad. Mad! Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:43, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
IM NOT MAD AND SURE AS HELL WOULDNT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO BE!! AAAAHHH!! MY APOLOGIES!!! AAAAAHHH!!! (I went for an overstatement joke. It might have been a tad exaggerated and then further ruined by this sentence trying to explain it; but what the heck its my talk...) --Kit talk 22px-Flag of Sweden.png
Um. Yeah. No problem. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 17:56, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
But other than confusing you I just noticed a problem you might no the answer too. As you can maybe see my signatures time seem to have stopped at the time I created my sig page. Do you know anyway to correct that?--Kit talk 22px-Flag of Sweden.png
Your sig had <font color="darkblue"><i>10:56 14 March</i></font></small> in it, so that's what it displayed. I don't know how to make it do that thing with the date/time. Try asking on IRC. In the meantime, just sign with four tildes, which will put in your sig and the correct date/time. Sir Modusoperandi Boinc! 18:10, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh right! Silly me, I know how to fix that xD I'll fix it soon enough. Friends just got over and we're gonna start drinking beer. Cheers! --Kit talk 22px-Flag of Sweden.png

Macintosh[edit source]

Thanks for the review. Although I do agree that the more prominent writers tend to simply make up facts and avoid any polarising subject that may upset their readers, I don't think anyone with a bit of integrity should dumb down everyone here in such a manner. Life is short, and I don't get really paid for doing anything here. If someone wants to read pages after pages of stuff about life in Pluto, then that's fine for me - it's none of my business anyway. But when I write something, I want to entertain, not some drunken frat boy from a high school, but discerning readers that have the guts to criticise not just anything but also what I say. Hence, if anyone wants to play it safe, then that's their choice, but you aren't going to see me doing the same thing, ever.

Anyway, I appreciate your concern, but I think we shall simply leave it as that. -- The Colonel (talk) 01:28, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

If that is your opinion I respect it. Although I may have been a bit unspecific and went and simplified my thoughts by writing that you should dumb it down. That wasn't really what I was trying to say so I'll try to rephrase it. Your english is obviously above mine but it is still somehow a very heavy english; at least in that specific article. To give you an example Nachlader and Globaltourniquet (former TPLN) both have impressive skills in english. Not only is it impeccable but its light and easy read without being dumbed down a bit. It just flows very well with each words fitting perfectly and guiding the reader. Im no expert but I just wanted to point out that to me your text was demanding and "heavy". It had extremly long sentences and the "block" formatting didn't help. I still hope you might take that into consideration and somehow "lighten up" the article by giving it more space and making the text more fluid and easy read - not dumbed down. I'm sorry I used that to describe my thoughts. Anyway; like I stated before that is my opinion and if you like your text as it is good for you =) I hope someone else can give you an other review that s more satisfying to you. Cheers --Kit talk 22px-Flag of Sweden.png 21:34 15 March

Wait. I'll tell you right away. (I need to look something up first.) -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 10:21, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
You need to put "{{subst:CURRENTTIME}}, {{subst:CURRENTDAY}} {{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}" in the signature box at your preferences. That way you can change it the way you want. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 10:29, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
And then sign using only three tildes. (to avoid a duplicate timestamp) ~Formerly Annoying Crap
Exactly. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 10:44, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Um, but you shouldn't add it in your sig subpage, the code needs to be directly added in the signature box at your preferences. -Sockpuppet of an unregistered user 10:46, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
Yes, got it - Thanks;) ~Formerly Annoying Crap 10:49, 15 March 2009
