Welcome![edit source]

Hello, DavyK17, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:DavyK17/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome!  — Capitalis quadrata Y.SVG (talk) (contributions) 14:49, September 4, 2011 (UTC)

yay welcome back[edit source]

Good to see you back and writing articles. More writers are always good, especially when they write decent stuff. I hope you stick around. – Llwy-ar-lawr (talkcontribslogs) 01:10, 20 May 2014Uncyclopedia is a community site that anyone can contribute to. Discover, share and add your knowledge! Yo[edit source]

Re: this thing we working on ... Did you intend to undo my changes, or did you put it back to how it was by mistake? Either is cool. Was just wondering if you knew how to view the page history, and look at what changes have been made to the page and such :) JFC 18:18. May 20

Nah I didn't intend to undo your changes. Probably should've checked the history first. Although, I think the Bournemouth joke would only be funny to people living in England. I didn't get it at all. I'll integrate some of your edits back in the article. DAVYK17 (talk to mewhat I've done) 19:00, 20 May 2014 (UTC)
Ah, that's cool. I was going for Bournmouth because it was random and very different and unlikely. I thought that it would would work in that context. Still, it's all good. One thing I would say... IMO Some if it is a bit "ranty without the funny", and that's what I was trying to do by smoothing some parts of it over. Now that I know you understand about page histories and such I will carry on editing it a little maybe... JFC 19:09. May 20

Selfie[edit source]

Wondering why you are importing articles from The Spoon. http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Selfie --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 17:31, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Importing your own articles between the two Uncs is fine - and if a collab, it is usually polite to ask your co-writers/editors if they mind or not. It's impolite to say the least to do that with other people's work as it appears to be 'passing off' as the edit history of an article will imply you are the author and not those responsible. If the reverse happened at the Spoon and an article came from the Fork, I would say the same. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ITRA (Orate) ® 20:58, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
