Welcome![edit]

Hello, EpicWinner, and welcome to Uncyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If not, the door's right over there... no, a little more to your left... yeah. Anyway, here are a few good links for people like you:

If you read anything at all, make it the above three links. If you want to find out more about Uncyclopedia or need more help with something, try these:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being an Uncyclopedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) or use the "sign" button (Button sig.png) above the edit box. This will automatically produce your name and the date.

At Uncyclopedia, writing articles is not a requirement, but it certainly is a fun and easy way to express your creativity. To write an article, it's recommended that you start it in your userspace (for example, User:EpicWinner/Article about stuff) so you can edit it at your leisure. If you decide to create it in the cold world of mainspace, make sure it is in accordance with the policies laid out above, and if you're not done put the "Work-In-Progress" template - {{construction}} - onto it as well.

If the current colonization doesn't suit your fancy, then browse our rewrite and idea categories. We have lots of articles just sitting around for someone to improve, so don't be afraid - dive right in!

If you need help, ask me on my talk page, ask at the Dump, or ask an administrator on their talk page. Additionally, the Uncyclopedian Adopt-a-Noob program is there to bring experienced editors straight to you. Simply leave a message on an adopter's talkpage to join. Again, welcome! Sir Todd GUN WotM MI UotM NotM MDA VFH AotM Bur. AlBur. CM NS PC (talk)

Barack Obama[edit]

I reverted your edit as I didn't add anything to the article. There are plenty of other articles out there that need work. New comers that dive straight into a contentious subject (like Obama or Islam for example) are watched closely in case the spray can comes out. You can always ask an admin (see above) for advice. --Laurels.gifRomArtus*Imperator ® (Orate) 14:03, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hi, I just wanted to say that you might be interested in the "Preview" button. I see that several of your edits only changed the size of one picture. I recommend that you use the preview button for such edits, for it has several advantages: It makes the revision history easier to follow, and it doesn't clog up Special:RecentChanges. Also, I see you haven't given up on the Simpsons article... just be careful not to get into a revert war, although I've already left a note on Frosty's talkpage, because I think he shouldn't have reverted your previous edits, because the rollback tool, as I understand it, should only be used for reverting vandalism (except when an additional explanation is given, like how Romartus left a note on your talk page). But apparently, he doesn't "give a shit", so perhaps that means that you're free to do whatever you want. Have fun! Schamschi, 23:22, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Barack Obama's birth[edit]

First: Don't get into a revert war, no matter what the reasoning is. Rollback is designed for removing vandalism, as it says above, but is also used when an edit is made that falls short of HTBFANJS. It's a quick way to undo edits. This particular article has been a vandal target in the past. I prefer to undo or revert edits first and them review them later. That's what I was doing when you reverted my change. This makes it very hard to view the changes in an unbiased light, and it's effectively just being a dick.

Second: I did review the changes, and I have only a minor concern. At the start you have a bundle of footnotes squeezed together on the one sentence. Even on Wikipedia - where sources matter - it's uncommon to see more than two sources for a point, and rarer still to see four. It's not a neater way of formatting. Beyond that, I have no objection with the changes, however this article was written by SPIKE, who has his own very strong feelings about political advocacy (when he doesn't agree with it) and he is likely to remove the edits. I'd suggest talking to him before he does revert the changes.

Third: Welcome to the site. Most of your edits have been really worthwhile. I'm happy to see you around. Just keep in mind that as a community we work on a fine line of civility and anarchy. Keeping things civil and open communication is important. Elephants in lederhosen! 01:15 17 Sep

Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi[edit]

Hello! I've noticed that you've been creating mirror-versions of uncyclopedia-pages, such as Sexy and this Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. As I am seeing it, 'Sexy' is just the imported article from uncyc.wikia, am I correct? Now I don't really have a problem with this, since it seems that you've rewrote it yourself anyway (altho you should check the missing file that you have on there), but I'm deeply wondering where did that Puffy-article come from? As I am seeing it you just copy-pasted a deleted version of it (you most likely got it from from mirror.uncyc since you shouldn't be able to see deleted revisions) and seem to be rewriting it now, but please don't bring deleted articles into mainspace right away. You could have started it on userspace, such as User:EpicWinner/Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. Also in regards to both articles, there are various reasons why certain revisions you're using have been deleted/overall disliked in the past, you could maybe start from the scratch when rewriting articles because original content is much more appreciated. I don't want to sound mean or anything but as of now we seem to have a only slightly edited deleted page back in mainspace which is quite troubling (you should maybe want to view sexy again, the listcruft that was present on the original revisions of it isn't very pretty) Cat the Colourful (Feed me!) Your rewrites[edit]

Wow, you're doing great! Thanks for rewriting all this cruft! Anton (talk) 14:25, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Thank you. Now, I'll admit, a lot of my rewrites involve:
  • Cutting down on jokes I feel are unfunny.
  • Adding back content from old revisions of the page that I thought were worth keeping.
  • Merging content from articles that have unnecessary multiple versions.
I'm not much of an "original comedy writer", more like an editor.--EpicWinner (talk) 19:28, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Tumblr[edit]

Hey EW! See what I did there? Not sure about those edits you've done to the Tumblr site with regards to the sites, it looks like the narrative within the article is more about the authors relationship with his girlfriend and rants about SJW, etc, rather than anyone's actual opinion on specific sites. -- Sir Mhaille Icons-flag-gb.png (talk to me)

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope[edit]

Formatting[edit]

As the article is "yours" I am not going to argue with you. As a reader I am unimpressed with your layout. As someone with a higher resolution monitor than yours I would say your article is formatted poorly. As a coder, I found errors.

If you prefer a gray box, I can change the color with the info template. The one you are using is a gay wikipedia spork.

Anyhoo, just my opinions.  –  User talk:Zana Dark User:Zana Dark Sheenicon.gif (ooh!) (aah!) ...·º•ø®@» LEG CUN GUN DUN 20:02, 5 October 2015

Articles Again[edit]

Hey, I hate to be leaving messages on your talkpage everytime you make an edit like a certain someone, but you have been deleting large chunks of articles. I reverted your edits on Reggae because that was a featured article and we don't really edit those unless the edits vastly improve it. In general I wouldn't remove large chunks of articles unless you are going to replace it with something better, or you think the article is really better off without it, but I guess that's my opinion. Either way we don't really edit featured articles. And I'm going to ban you for 5 seconds for your major insubordination and stuff. X - B@NZai k!tten BANZAI! (Meow?)B 09:29, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

Sporking from Wikia[edit]

Hi. I noticed that one of your contributions to MS-DOS copied the entire Storage section from the same article over at Wikia without permission. Yeah, don't do that. You have already been told multiple times not to do this and you were even banned for 12 hours for continuing to do so. I was going to ban you again but I figured I'll give you another shot because I'm so nice. Next time however it will be a 1 week ban. We're not a mirror of the Wikia site nor are they a mirror of us; if you want to spork from Wikia then you need to seek permission from the creator of the article, and if they give permission then fair enough. Otherwise don't do it. Cheers. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! (t)(c)(a) 22:48, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Okay, looking over this I have no idea what is going on between you two but regardless I feel the easiest way to deal with it is if the two of you had a discussion about your issues with each other's edits, how you think certain articles should be improved and maybe try to agree on something instead of retroactively reverting one another. Just my tuppence worth. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! (t)(c)(a) 22:55, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Wikia again[edit]

If you're going to spork an article from Wikia, you need to have explicit permission from the author of that article. In the case of Jeb Bush, you needed to have permission from Spike in order to spork his article from there to here. You didn't have his permission. You have been told about this before. It's the same if anybody writing at Wikia wanted to spork from here. I do however acknowledge that you did attribute the sporked portion(s) of the article to Wikia, hence why I've granted you mercy and haven't blocked you for a full week. But yeah with regards to Wikia, no permission from the author = no sporking.

Of course, if you did indeed have his permission and can provide a link or whatever of him saying that you have permission then post it here and I'll lift the block. Otherwise, see you in 3 days. -- Lost Labyrinth It's Britain bitch! (t)(c)(a) 22:45, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Your edits on the Wayside School article[edit]

Admittedly, the way I wrote it at first wasn't that good, but what was wrong with the references to I.M. Meen? I know that he appears a lot in YouTube Poops and may have seemed like a forced meme, but it makes sense to have I.M. Meen somewhat involved with Wayside School, because he has that "I HATE BOOKWORMS!!!" attitude, has a male version of the Evil female Teacher-type appearance cliche, and those traits REALLY make I.M. Meen perfectly in place in Wayside. --Syu20 of the Who-dea (talk) 02:18, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

Wayside and Crossover Humor[edit]

There are a few articles here on Uncyclopedia, like "Barney Frank" and "Isaac The Tank Engine" that employ crossover humor. I can understand you removing the Sonic 2 part though. THAT was rather cringy and forced, but taking T.R. Ash, who built the school, and replacing every I.M. Meen reference and changing a few bits of context with him seems equally forced, since much of the context around I.M. Meen was specifically written to make sense for his character (albeit a bit exaggerated). I personally think it would make sense that I.M. Meen would be involved with a school like Wayside. And if you really thought that referencing I.M. Meen was a bad idea, why didn't you remove the image of I.M. Meen standing in front of the school? --Syu20 of the Who-dea (talk) 03:34, 23 September 2017 (UTC)

How about I have I.M. Meen be the school's founder, and have the backstory about him, but also keep some of the references to T.R. Ash? I also did not reference any memes other than I.M. Meen. I also added a part about (the real) Mark Millar on the 19th story and some other jokes about Wayside School. If you don't like that revision, you can revert it back to yours. --Syu20 of the Who-dea (talk) 20:51, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

Yes, you can bring it to Wikia. --Syu20 of the Who-dea (talk) 15:38, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
