VFH Removal[edit | edit source]

These are the personal guidelines I follow for VFH removal:

  1. Never remove anything over 60% health, unless VFH has over 30 articles on at the time.
  2. If there's between 30 and 20 articles, remove the articles with the lowest health first (under 60%). If they qualify for QFA, remember to add it.
  3. 40 - 50% health articles (typically on VFH for the long-term) are "hesitaters" if VFH isn't overflowing too much. Wait a day or two to see if any other article, usually on VFH shorter than it, falls below in health before removing it.
  4. If VFH is between 17 and 20 articles, it is considered somewhat healthy. Don't remove anything over 20% from here (these articles are deemed "exceptional cases")
  5. If VFH is 16 articles or under, don't remove anything over 10% health (these articles are deemed "exceptional cases", too)
  6. Articles on VFH with -3 or under score are always exceptions. Remove these first, and at any time.

VFD Deletion[edit | edit source]

Deletion on VFD is simpler, given that there's no health system and whatnot. However, I still have my own little guidlines for deletion:

  1. If an article has 4 more Delete votes than it has Keep votes, delete it.
  2. If an article have 4 more Keep votes than Delete, and has been on VFD for over 2 days, it is Kept.
  3. If an article has been on VFD for more than 4-5 days, doesn't have 4 more Delete votes than Keep votes (or vice versa), and hasn't been receiving new votes, it is considered Kept.
  4. If an article has more than 6 Keep and Delete votes apiece, it is considered a "Big nomination". Leave these on for about a week, as they are likely to draw in more votes from the community, unless you notice is gets particularly stagnant quickly or causes drama.
