1) I've got nothing to say. Seriously, I'm not that interesting.

I've read lots of that pages. Almost all are just a huge load of useless information added by fanboys. Very comprehensive. Well, about the vote, I never ask for sympathy votes and I try to refrain myself from giving them. Also, maybe we just have a different sense of humor. That's one of my top ten, but yeah, there are some writers here who's work consistently doesn't "click" for me. It hurts me a bit to read great writing that does nothing for me. It's a side effect from having users from all over the world, I think. Sometimes we're just going in different directions. That's why I always go for the lowest denominator and load my pages down with cuss words and nudity. <emoticon of guy winking in a not-serious way>. But I digress. Okay, I gave it a read...it's an interesting idea but (you're not going to like this) the technique you've chosen makes the page incredibly hard to read. It's the reading equivalent of two steps forward, one step back, if that makes any sense. It may be better to take one of the two ideas in the page (the liar, the truther) and run with that (if it's the liar, try starting out telling the truth then, as the page goes on, go to steadily bigger and bigger fibs...which may be a bad idea, as John Lovitz did it to near-perfection on Saturday Nite Live). Also, try to avoid things like "...The liars came into existence around 1853 in the state of New Jersey...". Sentences like that come off as random, and few things kill my will to live like random (it should be noted, however, that I have terrible taste).

Probably not the informal Pee Review you were looking for, but I calls 'em likes I sees 'em. In this case, the central idea of the page ends up getting in the way of the smooth delivery of the page, IMO. Sir Modusoperandi ^Boinc! 20:42, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I was updating it after the last feature and thought to myself "Twelve? How the hell did that happen?". The first one is the sweetest. Savour it's tasty tastyness. You're addicted now. Soon you'll need bigger and bigger features. Then you'll be selling your body down by the docks in exchange for a funny line or a good idea for a new page.

I'd say something comforting like "It gets easier.", but it doesn't. The pages do, however, get better (although it should be said that they won't all be golden). Better is better than easier.

I wrote a little piece, that received in the Pee (from Prettiestpretty) a 43. She said the weakest thing about it was the images, and I'm inclined to agree. Lose the redlinks. Unless they're used to add a "bit", they're just a distraction.

Try to spread out the remaining blue links. When they're all clustered together, with big gaps in between batches, I think that they're plotting against me.

This may be a lot of work but imagine that the page is being narrated by someone with no clue as to what black culture is. For example, instead of "Chris Rock", try it as "Christopher Rock" or somesuch. The rest works well enough, but it may work better to try it as excessively politically correct (not "black", but "persons of African ancestry who are citizens of America"). The thing you've got to understand is that I work. A lot. A big, solid block, where I have just enough time during my time off to sleep or eat. I managed a couple of quick 'chops for Mordillo earlier, as he was ahead of you in line and they were simple. I might start yours tomorrow, but my "idea" is uses at least four pics (and will require more than a little time with my Wacom), which means I probably won't start 'chopping until Thursday, when I'm on days off. You mean the free kind of software? Gimp is it, man. I don't use it myself, but it's supposed to be good. There's probably an application that "fits" between the crappiness of MSPaint and the complexification of apps like Photoshop and GIMP, but...I skipped that step. If you want, just save in whatever format, upload it here with a note on what you want cropped and I'll do it when I get to it. A warning: I don't have access to my computer, and won't for a least a week (I'm guessing more). My basement flooded when they tested our new sewer pipe (no poop, but it's still treated as black water, which means the whole basement is torn out and replaced). Then, when they were tearing stuff up, they found asbestos...
