Modiferizing

Just had a quick look at the contribs of everybody on the list. My first thought is that Flammable, while being sexy and cool and all of that, hasn't made a contribution since July, and before that since February, as with his logs. And only has like, five contribs and 15 or so logs in 2008 overall.

Second is that MadMax, while also being cool and sexy and helpful, is on a sabbatical, and hasn't been around since August, or early July if you don't count his two mid-August contribs.

Others: Rc announced he's going to be gone for the most part, I believe, we haven't heard from Zim] since August, and he's been sporadic in 2008, what with PC issues and all, and Hinoa has announced his departure. Though Hinoa's announcement is only a few days old, so we'd probably wait to remove him from the list.

Anyways yeah, just things I noticed about the list, I want to make sure it stays up to date, people need to get their answers and all that. Feel free to discuss, I'm not gonna make any changes yet. -RAHB 23:12, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

MOAR Updates

I think RAHB is more or less back. Jack Phonenix has been rather sporadic (40 edits this year) although his last edit has been recent. Similar situation with Olipro, but he appears to be watching the site a good bit. --Mn-z 17:42, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm "back", but I never really left. Point is, my internet access isn't very steady since I don't have a connection in my apartment, so my contributions and ability to answer adminly issues has become scattered and less reliable. I just want to make sure nobody comes here, sees they can come to me for a problem, and then doesn't get a response. Ok. Btw, I think of the admins on the list have been rather sporadic, at least in terms edits. I can't really tell how much they watch the site by that though. Yeah, I think that's more or less how we've been doing it. The admins who are going to be able to deal with an issue if they're so needed are the ones who should be up, and those tend to be the most active. There's also the logs page, which many admins tend to have more entries in than the contributions page. -RAHB 21:19, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Jack Phoenix is definitely active. You can tell be how he only ever seems to come back to readd himself to the list. But seriously, it's supposed to be people who respond when contacted, and he does. The dyslexic thing sounds unfunny

I always had assumed that TheLedBalloon had his name spelled "led" in honor of rock legends Led Zeppelin. I convinced that with Frosty, but that freak just said it's a joke. It's still unfunny.

Adminship

How do I become an admin? I recommend a lot of articles for cleanup/deletion but I never get to do much on here. I have written a few articles, but the vast majority of edits consist of improving already-written articles. I think I deserve an adminship and I'm up to the task. I'd have said that you have to convince the current admins we need more of them and get voted in at vfs, but that works too I guess. I'm in the same boat btw (though I'm not very active just now); probably would have become one around now if not for the fact that we apparently don't need more admins. Hold on, I know a better way. Do a bunch of vandalism through proxies (so the checkusers can't catch you; but make sure you don't use any of them logged in as you) and then complain about how we need more admins to fight the vandalism. Loveshade Info

Hello. I was sent here by someone y'all know. They gave me the Loveshade page User:Alden Loveshade because he's actively socking a wikia/fandom that I have been admin'ing all on my own for the last couple of years... (Illuminatus) but I blocked his known socks and now he's mad. I let my guard down for a bit due to medical stuff and he took over with a new sock (I didn't realize IP bans were only 24 hours) and swiftly banned me with all the freshly unbanned socks backing him up. Since this is all sock activity, I removed the block and blocked him back. Frankly, I'm in over my head with someone that apparently has all the time and energy in the world to harass you for not wanting kiddie smut and lies all over your wiki. "Chirp Darlene" is the newest sock y'all might not know about. Please contact me on Twitter, via email, here... whatever. I'm available on Discord as well. UnCommons help please

Some kind admin on UnCommons decided to block me indefinitely for 'Abuse of multiple accounts'. Strange, because I have never previously edited on UnCommons, and I had an exclusive static IP address! The really annoying thing is that it states that I should contact the admin who blocked me, or another admin - but that is not possible, because I have been totally blocked from the entire site, including sysop talk pages.

Weird. The thing that happened to you seems pretty simple: there were multiple users in the /16 range you are in. This means that there are other UnCommons users near you. Unfortunately, UnCommons is out of the scope of my control, and considering how indefinite blocks are being applied to entire /16 ranges (a very dangerous thing to do)... I doubt I will be able to unblock you or do anything about it. Rhubella Marie, the blocking admin, is present here on en-uncyc though, so you could navigate to their talk page to make your case.  Cassandra  (talk) 10:59, 17 June 2021 (UTC)

I seem to be in a parallel thingy

I was able to log in a couple of years ago. Or was it just like 7 or 8 months ago? I know it wasn't last week. I remember there being some other weird site I had to create an account on and fix my log in so that it could work again due to the whole site being moved to another parallel thingy. Oh a personal note, when I would make these pages, I would find I'd have to make other pages to link to so I could use the link-tos. The mirror site isn't really allowing me to edit anything there because, as it says, it's just for archival purposes. And you have no idea the vibe I'm invoking here when I say that, but it pertains to something way off elsewhere and totally alien to anything here...but it's really just my perfectionist nature that I'm even troubling you with on this matter.
