Namely, the human ego. "I want more articles about snakes", says the snake, just like people who identify themselves as conservatives or liberals or atheist, or christian or well anything want more articles related to how they identify themselves. The snake is a parody of that nature. The snake wants articles about snakes because he's a snake. Notice he doesn't say anything about racketball or something unrelated. The humor would be lost then. He's built this big tower of a false identity, and mighty uncyclopedia brings him down to size. Delicious, really.
