  1. For Set off my giggle filter firing all over the place. The word 'Cunt' is a term of endearment in many circles, so I'm not sure why this is funny but it is. Especially if you happen to be British, and like cricket. If you are not, maybe you will fund it funny anyway. MrN MrN9000SouthParksmall.jpg 17:50. Jul 6

  1. Hey, I can say the word "cunt" too and pretend that itself is a joke! Cunt. Ha! Man, I crack myself up. Argylesocks (talk) 01:03, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
As I said above, this will be a hard sell for non-cricket fans. It's hard to transmit the scandal over the first two c-words mentioned, which were not invented, and form the crux of the joke. The second one in particular was from a chap who seemed perfectly affable and inoffensive, and came after years of dignified silence over a schism in the national team. It'd be like Mickelson calling Woods "a nigger" now. The rest of the c-words are of course invented and vulgar, but all refer to current events or long running feuds, so may not be quite as crude as you think. Leverage (talk) 08:59, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
Eh, even with the historical context "Person doing outrageous thing he obviously wouldn't do" is still kind of well-tread ground, and the article only scratches the surface with its vulgarity. It's more of a matter that you kind of pop off the same joke one time after another, skipping it on the surface of the pond without finding any interesting angles. The escalation in the types of public figures could work but, again, you'd have to know them and, again, it still only works on the "Bad Grandpa" level that I mentioned above. Also the analogy you make about Woods and Mickelson would be worlds different, and worse, but I'm not going to get into that. --Argylesocks (talk) 20:37, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
