Note: If anyone could find a picture of Ted Crilly of impersonating the Chinese neighbor from the epidode "Are You Right There, Father Ted ?", it might make an excellent addition to Chinese people.

Fedora Core and/or Red Hat Linux

Seeing as you tagged FC +NRV (bastard :) it'd be nice to breathe some life into it (you've done pimps before?). I've written a couple of Linux pieces today and am recycling the same tired desktop from GNOME. I'll take whatever impulsive creation you make. -- T. (talk) 19:10, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Ah, now it's a worthwhile article! =P Let me see what I can come up with.... Strong RadX 19:12, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Heh. You made that Fecal E.Coli machine with no article. :D But, like last time, I'll try to make whatever I write measure up to the standard of the pictures. -- T. (talk) 19:30, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Maniac Mansion

I need a parody screenshot from the game Maniac Mansion for the article Maniac Mansion. It would be awesome if Dave, Bernard, and Michael could be replaced with Oscar Wilde, Steve Ballmer, and Kanye West, and their names on the bottom of the new kid screen. If no one wants to attempt this, It may be huffed with no looking back. --Kyle1 22:02, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I wasn't sure how to do this, so I did THIS. Hope it's acceptable. Strong RadX 01:15, 6 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Benny Hill as Figaro

Template Image Suggestions

I had a few suggestions for adding several unused images onto specific templates. As I'd rather not attempt to edit major templates (particularly if they're not very funny), I thought I would list them here if anyone had any thoughts ? MadMax 05:14, 21 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Alliteration

Argyle-arson.jpg

I could use some sort of alliterative artwork for this article. --Spintherism 20:58, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Alan Alda's always assaulted around argyle arsonists. Strong RadX 21:40, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Wonderful. --Spintherism 21:50, 26 Nov 2005 (UTC)

YOU FOOL! THAT'S ASSONANCE! ALLITERATION is consanants. EamonnPKeane 20:40, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Alliteration does generally use consonants, but doesn't have to. Assonance is something else entirely, and doesn't necessarily have to do with the first letter in a word. You should check to make sure you know what you're talking about before you abuse the caps lock key, or you RUN THE RISK OF SOUNDING LIKE A MORON. --Spintherism 20:48, 3 Dec 2005 (UTC)

Alliteration, from www.dictionary.com - The repetition of the same sounds or of the same kinds of sounds at the beginning of words or in stressed syllables, as in “on scrolls of silver snowy sentences” (Hart Crane). Modern alliteration is predominantly consonantal; certain literary traditions, such as Old English verse, also alliterate using vowel sounds.

assonance, from www.dictionary.com - 1. Resemblance of sound, especially of the vowel sounds in words, as in: “that dolphin-torn, that gong-tormented sea” (William Butler Yeats). 2. The repetition of identical or similar vowel sounds, especially in stressed syllables, with changes in the intervening consonants, as in the phrase tilting at windmills. 3. Sounding like an ass.

Strong RadX 23:11, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I suppose I'm not Old English, but I win anyhow. --Spintherism 23:17, 5 Dec 2005 (UTC)

The U.S.S. Gratuitous Anime Panty Shot

USS GAPS.jpg

I have no idea why I went down the route of making up a battleship to replace the Undictionary-worthy Gratuitous Anime Panty Shot article, but I did, I dragged it out way too far, and I'm proud. The only thing is, I don't have pictures to fill in the blanks where the Wikipedia battleship information table has room for a picture of the ship and its colors/ensign. I'm not sure what could properly go there in the context of the article, honestly, but I'm sure SOMETHING can. Could anyone be so kind as to help me out? --CaptainSpam MUN PUTPBAA 06:31, 24 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Okay, here's the first image. I'm working on another of its commission plate. Strong RadX 15:50, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)

USS-GAPS-Commission.jpg

And here's the commission plate. Enjoy. Strong RadX 18:46, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)

  • Sweet, that'll do nicely. I thought the plate might not look right when shrunk down for the table, but it's easily recognizeable. Thanks! --CaptainSpam MUN PUTPBAA 20:19, 25 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Secret Santa

Manhattan Engineering District (done now)

TrumanTorch.jpg
NixonHulk.jpg
GroverVision.jpg

For Manhattan Engineering District a.k.a. one of the several pages on the Manhattan Project: Any of the following would be helpful:

  • Harry Truman as the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four flying away from a nuclear blast
  • Scientists shooting a ray at an object, making it levitate and/or turn green
  • Grover Cleveland on a vision-quest
  • any of the following or all of the following in an image
    • Eisenhower as Cyclops from the X-Men
    • Kennedy as Mr.Fantastic from the Fantastic Four
    • Lyndon Johnson as Quicksilver from the Avengers
    • Nixon as the Hulk
    • Gerald Ford as Thor from the Avengers
    • Jimmy Carter with Wolverine claws
    • Ronald Reagan as Jubillee from the X-Men
    • Bush 41 as Captain America
    • Clinton as Spider-Man
    • Bush 43 as Magneto

Thanks for any of these you can do. --Isra1337 13:42, 19 Nov 2005 (UTC)

How are those? --Spintherism 04:18, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Thanks! I just put Nixon on. Human Torch is a little hard to make out. (Fire on Fire) Maybe I better do that one myself, since I now have a clearer picture in my mind. --Isra1337 04:25, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Looks like there's no room for some of the pics I asked for. I crossed those out. But if anyone already strated, post them anyway. I'll figure out how to fit them in the space. --Isra1337 04:29, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)

You had better fit them in. Mr. Cleveland does not take kindly to being ignored. --Spintherism 04:38, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)
Sweetness. Mr. Cleveland cannot be ignored when he looks that awesome. I am going to have to add more text to make it look purty, but that is definately going on the page. --Isra1337 08:29, 20 Nov 2005 (UTC)

World of Whorecraft pictures

Proctology

This page is on VFH, but needs a picture or three. There are enough hooks in the article to inspire a number of mental images, so I'll leave it to the artist's imagination determine what picture(s) would best illustrate this subject. Thanks in advance. -- T. (talk) 14:14, 1 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Picture for Template:Crazy ?

Would it be possible to add a picture to the crazy template ? I'd suggest Blackadder's Gen. Melchett (Stephen Fry) however I'm not sure weither or not using a picture from the series would be within fair use. 70.88.217.193 20:05, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I think as long as it is sourced (special requirements for nudity though), it is perfectly fine. For example: Image:Melchett.jpg (copyvio tag, and link to source) --Splaka 21:17, 22 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Microsoft Bob

Could someone upload some Microsoft Bob-related images, such as the splash screen, etc.? If you don't know what the hell Bob is, Google it. And leave the article writing to me, please. I want to protect my vanity. --Cheeseboi 18:13, 27 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Microsoft Bob is indeed a very interesting and potentially laughable subject. I'd like to see what your angle is and make a picture from it. I found a lot of screenshot but I believe they are copyrighted or something. --Sir Sunsneezer CUN

See GNOME. The original Bob screenshots are easy enough to find. - David Gerard 16:23, 7 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Supremes Court

Just a picture of The Supremes sitting in a jury booth or maybe a parady of the seal of the Supreme Court would suffice.

My opinion? One or more of these ladies depicted holding a scale balance in one hand and a sword in the other, as traditional icons American blind justice style, would fit best. :) --Carlb 05:58, 27 Sep 2005 (UTC)

David Bowie v. Mick Jagger

  • I'm actually going to request two different pictures for this entry. (I'm so greedy.) The first would be a tabloid cover with a headline along the lines that Mick Jagger has criticized David Bowie's haircut. The second should be a picture of the two in an epic battle. I'm thinking it should be like a Dragonball Z style fight with lots of explosions and energy flying around. --neoEva88 04:30, 30 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Zombie Jesus, stephen sondheim

Zombie Jesus bestows his pestilence on all.
Stephen Sondheim looks upon the crucial final piece to his Kryptonite Gun.

Hi! New author, here. I wrote these pages, but suck at photoshop and other artsy stuff. I would love a picture of Zombie Jesus (self explanatory, I think). For the Sondheim page, I am looking for something like a combination of pictures of the real Sondhiem with Lex Luthor. Sarducci 12:55, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Well....I wasn't sure how to do a Zombie Jesus, so I did a Rob Zombie Jesus, and added a few stylistic touches (skin color, glowing eyes, etc)...Hope it works for ya! --Strong Rad 03:53, 27 Oct 2005 (UTC)
