Wrong interwiki link[edit source]

Currently the interwiki prefix fi: makes a link to finnish Uncyclopedia (Hikipedia). However there is an another Hikipedia at http://fi.uncyclopedia.info/ (or hiki.pedia.ws) which has more articles and seems to be more coherent. I bet all three finnish users would be very grateful if that interwiki link is changed... --82.181.222.155 18:44, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Cannot Edit[edit source]

When I click the edit button when on my user it will not let me edit. I have to use my IP adress, as I am doing now. What do I do

Unbanned[edit source]

I appear to be confused with a user that I don't know anything about. As I'm blocked from editing with my username I must currently use my IP address. So. Anyway, I'm RoboJesus, which is also my nick on Fark and a few other sites. I don't appear to be who Angela says I am. I don't even know who she says I am. Could somebody unban me from editing? That would be peachy. --68.72.35.30 20:16, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Addendum: if this is the wrong place to plead my case please direct me to where I should go. Thanks. --68.72.35.30 20:23, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Fixed, but I don't know by whom. Thanks, whoever you are. --RoboJesus 17:50, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Special pages down[edit source]

  • I'm assuming the system is down, however I'm not getting any results from special pages. MadMax 21:31, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
  • Seems to be working again. MadMax 00:59, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Broken help link[edit source]

The "Index of all help pages" link in the "Other Important Links" section on the Help:Contents page is broken, there's no such special page. 3easysteppes 02:47, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for letting us know. It seems that wiki-linking to special pages either doesn't work, or it wasn't formatted correctly, and I couldn't figure out how to do it. Regardless, I swapped to an external link to the page, and it works now. Thanks again. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 16:33, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

You Know the Problem[edit source]

On the article You Know Who I had added a mathmatical equation, which is not showing. Instead the following message is coming through. What do I do to correct the situation. Point to note - I copied the codes from the article on Flying Spaghetti Monster - and made some ammends to it. But, even the original codes are not showing on you know where.

Failed to parse (Missing texvc executable; please see math/README to configure.): \frac {GerogeW^2\ Young Mothers^{do'em}}{Mother^{of}Frankenstein} +\left[\frac{\gamma}{Dollar Bills}+ \frac{AntiChrist}{\delta} + \frac{\epsilon}{Ninja} \right]\frac {Mutant}{Turtles} - \frac {\alpha \beta X -Justice} {League\left(Superpower\right)\left(z-d\right)} \alpha

Orphaned articles[edit source]

The article Babel:Zh-hant/桶煤, listed as an orphaned article, appears on the Orphaned pages list. Also a non existant article, Babel: The Movie also appears on the orphans list. MadMax 05:40, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Yah, wikia has some bugs with some Special pages. One wikia has several 'On wheels' vandalism links in their wanted pages, ouch! --Splaka 05:50, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
"Babel: The Movie" is unreachable because there's an extra space between the namespace prefix and the article title. Only way to fix an article name with a leading space is directly on the SQL database, can't reach it from here. --Carlb 10:54, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
Seems to have not been moved because of this space. It is still in main article namespace. --Splaka 05:56, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Problem reverting article[edit source]

I was attempting to merge ASCII art to ASCII, however when I attempted to save the page I kept getting a reload page. I ran into the same problem when I tried to revert ASCII art. I'm not sure if this is because my computer isn't able to process it, or if it's a problem with the articles themselves. MadMax 09:39, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

That was the spam protection filter triggering on long numbers. See Wikia:Forum:String_of_numbers_type_vandalism. I changed all the number 8 to % and it worked. --Splaka 05:54, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Error Message[edit source]

Error:

From Uncyclopedia, the content-free encyclopedia. The database did not find the text of a page that it should have found, named "User talk:152.163.100.68 (Diff: 0, 0)". This is usually caused by following an outdated diff or history link to a page that has been deleted. If this is not the case, you may have found a bug in the software. Please report this to an administrator, making note of the URL.

This message came up when I clicked on a "You have a new message" link on one of my article pages. It said to report it, so here it is. --Issymissy 20:40, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Choose function totally hozed[edit source]

As far as I can tell, the <choose> function is hozed. What did you do, responsible villian? Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 15:43, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Aah, I am now informed that the Math function is currently out of order. I guess that <choose> is not psychic, unlike what the manual says. I suppose that once we have our math working, our choose will work as well. Bone F clear.png Sir Famine, Gun Petition » 16:23, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
Well, not per se, really... First <math> went down, and then <choose>. They didn't both go at the same time. At least not that anybody noticed... So your assumption could be misplaced. --~ sin($) tan() 16:28, 12 February 2006 (UTC)

Can't upload files[edit source]

Always errors like:

Could not copy file "/tmp/phprNRYP0" to "/home/wikicities/cities/uncyclopedia/images/1/13/FursuitAdultAttachment.jpg". FurIsMurder 21:23, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

Just hit the back button on your browser and try again. It may take a couple of times, but it works. --officer designate Club symbol.png Lugiatm Club symbol.png MUN NS CM ZM WH 12:47, 16 February 2006 (UTC)

missing image[edit source]

File:InvertedWilde.PNG Where did it go? This image was used on Racso Edliw and Making up Racso Edliw quotes. --Nerd42eMailTalkUnMetaWPediah2g2 16:24, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)

  • 01:03, 28 Dec 2005 Gwax deleted "Image:InvertedWilde.PNG" (crap trashing)

You might want to raise the issue on his talk page if the image is indeed in use? --Carlb 23:26, 8 Jan 2006 (UTC)

DYK Code problem[edit source]

In the Template:DYK page, there is a messed up option tag:

<option>

Asiphus.jpg

...that after Fantasy Island, that guy who yelled "Da plane, da plane !" would return to his native Iraq to serve government official Dr. Asiphus Al Hussein ?

</option< (note the backwards > here)
--Keithhackworth MUN F@H

Fixed, thanks! --—rc (t) 16:32, 7 Jan 2006 (UTC)
