This voting page is to decide the future of the many AAAAAAAAA! clones that have sprung up over the past few months. Please choose either one of the following options, or cast individual votes for each article.

Keep all "Clones"

  • I don't consider any of them clones and would volunteer to keep any of them on my user space provided it would not cause me to run up against a limit. Does anyone know what the limit to personal user space is? BTW, I can see why some would argue that most of them clones but Binary and Morse Code are absolutely not, since they do contain translatable messages from their respective codes. Also, Morse Code was a featured page; I think that featured pages should be given permanent immunity from deletion - if they have changed so much from when they were featured that they are completely different articles, then revert don't delete.--Naughtyned 02:45, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
  • What harm are they doing, really? Personally I don't think they have any sort of reflective-stupidity affect on the rest of the articles, and they're obviously not offensive. I actually sort of liked "Woof," even - after all, any wiki could use more dog imagery... I don't necessarily want to put a damper on the recent zeal to delete things, but I don't see how these clones are really all that bad. You could even argue that one of the things that makes Uncyc interesting is that it redefines the whole concept of "content," and if we see that as a good thing, then articles like this should mostly be kept (within reason, of course). --Some user 03:25, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

Conditional Delete: we should keep the ones that have genuine content in a strange format (binary, rot13, morse code, etc.) but eliminate all of the ones that contain content free repetition and aren't the original AAAAAAAAAA!
