Background[edit | edit source]

The song is named after the singer of the same name, who also shares the same name as the Uncyclopedia article about the song of the same name, and samples "Gotta Good Hold" by German disco group Boner M. In Australia, "Barbra Streisand" was first heard on the radio station Triple J. The song has since also moved to various commercial radio stations and has increased in popularity, reaching number one on the Australian Club Chart as of 12 September 2010, almost a month prior to its release.

A video for the song features many prominent and affiliated artists, but mentioning them here would be just terrible name-dropping.

On 24 October 2010, the Calgary Flames began using "Barbra Streisand" as their new own goal song.
