Heh most of these Democrats we voted out of office 8 or 10 years ago and replaced with Republicans. I guess the joke is on the voters now? --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 19:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for that ambiguosly nonpartisan nonsequiteur.--Count of Monkey Crisco 19:50, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

Look, all I wanted to do was point out that this last election meant nothing, except for what to expect next time, maybe. Also, it's always fun to compare America's method for choosing leadership to other countries' (and Europe, before you wig out over my overly Merkin sentiment, I'm obviously not talking about you).--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 20:53, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

My point was that the Democrats voted out of office 8 to 10 years ago where assholes then, but now the Republicans voted out of office now are assholes. All we really did was change the assholes back to what we had a decade ago. I'd rather see new Democrats than the old ones take office. Can you say "Gridlock" Admiral James Stockdale? I knew you could. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk)
"Who am I? Why am I here?"--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 22:42, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Yeah that kind of stuff was funny enough for me to vote for Perot/Stockdale. Too bad Stockdale passed away. Anyway the old liberal Democrats are now new social conservative Democrats, if that makes any sense? Anyway it would make a good UnNews article, hint hint, if someone wants to write it. Meet the new Democrats, same as the old Democrats, it'll be the 1990's all over again. --Lt. Sir Orion Blastar (talk) 18:53, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Woohoo! Party like it's 1992!--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 21:51, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Democrats Take Senate[edit source]

It was confirmed last night that Democrats took the Senate; shouldn't there be an update? Marsh64 22:33, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Well... there probably SHOULD be another article, but this one wasn't received as well as I'd hoped, so someone else will have to pen that gem, I'm afraid...--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 15:20, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
Well I liked it, if it makes you feel better Mbthegreat 12:08, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
W00T! Well, at least I've entertained one person. And, in the end, that's all that really matters (don't tell Famine I said that, he'll delete my account).--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 15:05, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Okay, I wrote an article about Democrats taking the Senate, and Zim ulator was kind enough to broadcast it via MP3 on the page. --Marsh64 20:23, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Groovy. Feel free to add the {{UnNews}} template, or whatever it is, to both. I dunno... I never really play with them much, myself.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 20:41, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

I apologize, I'm a fairly new member, and I don't know what the UnNews template is. --Marsh64 20:50, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Look at the code on this page, and it should give you an idea of how to do this.

--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 20:56, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Ah, I'm utterly confused what code we are speaking of and what left wing bias we are speaking of...although you did not actually type that sentence in HTML. --Marsh64 21:23, 11 November 2006 (UTC)

Ok. If you wanted to make the above template, you type {{Old news|title of UnNews article to which you're referring}}. The left-wing/right-wing bias thing is simply making fun of accusations of bias in the news. It's part of the template.--<<Bradmonogram.png>> 01:25, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
