I don't know a thing about sports, so I have to ask; is this article funny? Zimbuddha.jpg Rev. Zim_ulator (Talk) I am the dirt under your rollers 15:45, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

It looks like news. As I always say, it would be unquestionably funny if it is based on some real-world event. I am not a Raiders fan and cannot find Al Davis mentioned on MyWay or ESPN in the last week; on that basis, I don't think there is an event in the news, but I could be mistaken. I presume it is a workable parody of the way Al Davis talks; and it puts words in a player's mouth (which the player would never say but the fans would). On that basis, it might be quite entertaining for Raiders fans. Uncle J's article, a month ago, about the Toronto Maple Leafs signing renowned, deceased players for the late-season push for the championships provided hints for the uninformed (as this article does too) and had humor aspects for readers who are not specifically fans of its subject.
